EDITED
Everyone, including Charlie, cheered and hooted as they ran off the drop ship to explore the forest around them. While everybody grouped up with their friends, Charlie strayed. She saw a single flower and examined it. It looked exactly like one of the flowers her mother described. Looking ahead, she saw more so she followed the trail, leading to a full bush. After collecting a few, she headed back the dropship. Only to find Wells pushing Jasper back. Charlie knows Jasper is not one to instigate things so it must've been Wells.
She dropped the flowers in a hurry and jogged up to them, her chestnut hair blowing in the wind.
"Hey, hey, hey. He's with us." A guy that was leading a group, said. Charlie gave him a once-over. Quickly discovering that she did not like him. His whole stance showed that he was a douche that thought he was the world. This must be John Murphy, Charlie heard a lot about him before she got locked up.
"Yea, Wells. Lay one more hand on him, and my foot will go up your ass." Charlie threatened with a glare, she doesn't like when people hurt her friends.
He rolled his eyes at her while holding out his hands. "Relax, firecracker. We're just trying to figure out where we are."
"And that involves pushing my friend?" Charlie asked sarcastically, an eyebrow raised as she gave him a look that screamed, 'don't test me.'
"We're on the ground." Bellamy voiced, walking a little to them with Octavia by his side. "That not good enough for you?"
Wells sighed, walking forward as well. Clarke and Charlie following. "We need to find Mount Weather. You heard my fathers message. That has to be our first priority."
"Screw your father." Octavia sneered, causing Charlie to smirk. No one likes Jaha, and this just proves it. "What, you think you're in charge here, you and your little princess?"
Clarke spoke up, "Do you think we care who's in charge? We need to get to Mount Weather not because the Chancellor said so but because the longer we wait, the hungrier we'll get and the harder this'll be. How long do you think we'll last without those supplies?"
"Man, she is a Debbie Downer." Charlie muttered, earning a snicker from Jasper.
"We're looking at a twenty-mile trek, ok?" she added. "So if we want to get there before dark, we need to leave now."
"I got a better idea. You three, go find it for us. Let the privileged do the hard work for a change." Bellamy said, earning a chorus of 'yeah'.
"Oh hell no. My dad might be on the council, but I agree with you guys." Charlie stated, wanting to set it straight. She might can be a brat sometimes, but she is most definitely not a privileged brat. "Don't include me on that." she walked to the side. A few people laughed at her remark.
"You're not listening. We all need to go." Wells added before he got pushed by the same guy from earlier, Murphy.
"Look at this everybody. Chancellor of earth." he mocked.
"Think that's funny?" Wells spat.
Charlie did think it was funny, but she figured it would probably be better if she kept her mouth shut right now.
Before he knew it, Murphy hit Wells in the leg, knocking him down. Clarke called out to her ex bestfriend. Murphy spoke up, "No, but that was. All right."
"Fight, fight, fight." People were chanting and Charlie grew worried. She can be a bitch, but she was never a fan of when other's physically fought for no good reason. And as much as she hates Wells dad, she doesn't necessarily hate him.
