"It's gonna be night soon, Finn. Where are we going?" Clarke nagged.
Charlie rolled her eyes and continued to narrowly miss all the obstacles of nature. She let go of Charlottes hand a little while ago. She just couldn't get it out of her head what those same hands did only a few days ago. Charlotte may only be a little kid. But she still knows the difference between right and wrong. And killing Wells definitely put her on the naughty list.
"At least tell me you have a plan and we're not just wandering aimlessly through the woods."
"I have a plan. " said Finn.
A second later, Clarke was yelling. "What the hell do you think you are doing?" She glared at Charlotte. "Just because we saved you doesn't mean you're forgiven. Got it?"
Charlie didn't know what to say. She didn't want to defend Charlotte, as she is a killer and should be getting punished. But she didn't want to side with Clarke, either. She didn't like the way the blonde has been acting recently. So she stuck to saying nothing. Which happens very rarely.
"Clarke." Finn warned.
"What?" She snapped.
"She's just a kid." Her replied, disappointed that she would behave this way.
"She's a killer. You killed someone Charlotte. Ended his life. Did you stop to think about that for even one second?" Clarke asked. But when she saw her looking at the ground, she snapped. Yanking Charlotte's arm. "Look at me! You can't just kill someone to make yourself feel better!"
She straightened back up. Charlie scowled. "That's enough Clarke. We don't have time for this."
As if to prove her point, Murphy's voice carried through the forest. "Charlotte! Clarke, Finn, and Fitz can't save you!"
"We should run." Clarke suggested.
"Yea, that's one way to go. I like my plan better." Finn said, crouching down and opening a latch. "Get in."
They climbed in down the latter. Clarke, Fitz, and Finn turning on their flashlights. The place seemed pretty cool. There was toys, colored pencils, food, candles, and beds. Plus so much more. It must've been where someone planned to survive the nuclear apocalypse.
"Finn, what is this place?" Clarke asked.
Charlie noticed some pictures on a table. She sat down on the couch and took a look at the photos.
"For now, it's home." he replied.
So they set to work to make it decent. The lit the candles and got a bed together for Charlotte. He tucked her in.
Charlie decided that the quickest way for the day to get over was to go to sleep. "Ok guys. I'm going to go to sleep. Wake me up if you need anything."
She didn't wait for a response, before climbing into the top bunk and going to sleep. She was out for maybe two hours before Clarke shook her awake. Fitz rolled over and looked at her blankly. "She's gone."
Charlie's eyes widened and she quickly jumped down. "Then what are you waiting for? Go!"
They climbed out and Charlie suggested they split up. After Finn agreed, she ran to the right while they went to the left. A little while down, she heard a squeak and constant shushing. She looked behind the tree and saw Bellamy. Relief flooded her eyes. "Oh thank God, Bell. Finally someone with a brain."
He stood up and eyed her, glad to see her as well. He opened his mouth to speak but Murphy's voice sounded again. "You can't hide forever! Don't worry, we won't hurt you!"
