Two days after Bellamy Blake was pardoned for his crimes, he woke Charlie up in the middle of the night. Though she was grouchy about being woken up so early, he was persistent on her going somewhere with him.
"It's the middle of the night. What do you want?" Charlie rasped out, covering her eyes with the blanket.
"To show you something. Come on!" Bellamy urged. Charlie groaned quietly and tried to open her eyes. She had to squint because of the flashlight. But when she could finally focus, she saw the excitement radiating off of Bellamy. She knew that this was something he really wanted, and with everything that was going on, she wasn't going to rain on his parade by saying no. Plus, who could say no to that baby face?
Charlie sighed but got up anyways, whispering so she didn't wake anyone in the camp. "Where is this rendezvous gonna be held at?"
Bellamy chuckled and shook his head. "You'll see. Come on." Before she could get another word out, he grabbed her arm and pulled them out of the tent; the only thing he is holding is a flashlight and a knife.
When they exited the camp, Bellamy began to run even faster. They made a few different turns and climbed a few hills that Charlie did not recognize. She giggled, growing eager to see where they are going. "Why can't you tell me?" She called out, laughing as she ducked from many tree branches.
"Because it is a surprise." Bellamy answered. They slowed down as they neared a cave with the entrance covered by a sheet of moss. "Besides... we're here now."
Charlie crossed her arms, eyeing the guy with twinkling eyes. He was grinning from ear to ear as he shifted the moss out of the way and motioned for her to go on. Charlie hesitated, but entered anyways. The cave was long and dark but the flashlight shown the way. After being directed a few times by Bellamy, they finally saw a light at the end of the tunnel.
Charlie was so entranced that she didn't even realize that Bellamy had turned off the flashlight. They didn't need it as the moon and stars reflected on the clear water. Not to mention the beautiful glowing butterflies flying around lit up the area quiet a bit. The whole place was absolutely breathtaking. A little waterfall was on the left, dropping into the water hole. The little area seemed to be in the center of a rock wall.
Suddenly Fitz was wide awake, the idea of sleep far from her mind. Her gaze shifted from every fascinating site as she tried to take it all in. She turned to Bellamy to find that he was already staring at her. He has been the entire time. "How? When?" She couldn't seem to form the sentences she wanted to say.
"I went on a walk one day and found this place. You are the only person that knows besides me. I thought it could be our special place." Bellamy spoke quietly, as if he didn't want to disrupt the peace.
Charlie sighed happily and looked around once more. She was still entranced by the breathtaking scenery full of plants they definitely didn't learn about on the Arc. She hugged Bellamy, squeezing him as hard as she could. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
"For what?" He chuckled.
"For just being you." She said, kissing him on the lips. "I really do love you."
Bellamy's heart fluttered and he knew. "And I love you." After that fluffy moment, Bellamy ripped off his shirt in a hurry. Then he reached for his pants.
"What are you doing?" Charlie asked with a giggle. "If you wanted to have sex, all you had to do was ask." She joked.
Bellamy smirked. "Since when do I ask for sex? No, we're going swimming."
And just like that, he pushed her in the water. They spent hours just swimming, cuddling, and talking. Bellamy talked for a long time just about the stars and astrology. But Charlie didn't mind, she loved watching him talking about what he is passionate with.
