The group holds a pack meeting while Thomas and Minho make a discovery

♚♚♚

As the Maze doors creaked open, Thomas and Minho stood ready to run.

Scott and a couple other Gladers stood behind watching them with worried eyes.

With a sharp intake of breath and Minho yelling, "lets go," the two were off, into the maze and disappearing in the maze of walls.

Letting out a long, sad sigh, Scott turned and started walking toward the food shack. Breakfast should've been over by now, he just had to find the pack for a meeting. They needed to figure out what had happened and Lydia hadn't wanted to tell Scott what her episode was about until Derek was present. Why? He wasn't sure, but he respected her decision and waited.

Nearing the shack, he saw Lydia sitting with Derek and Kira, all of them talking in hushed voices as if they were afraid of being overheard. However; Gladers passing by with dirty pots and pans paid them no attention, as if they could care less. Scott walked up to them, sitting next to Kira and looking straight at Lydia and Derek. "I want a pack meeting. Can you guys get the others?" The pair nodded, starting to get up from the table. "Meet up where the graveyard is, under the section of trees over there," he pointed to the left and they understood where he meant. They nodded and left to gather the others.

Kira watched Scott as he glanced to the door where Thomas had run into the maze just mere minutes before. She rested a hand on his shoulder and softly smiled.

"We'll get him back. It'll all work out." Her gentle voice with a soft kiss on his cheek caused Scott to close his eyes and leaned closer to her touch. "I just miss him," she heard him whisper.

Kira nodded, "I do too."

The group of previously supernatural creatures were gathered beside a small graveyard, looking as though someone had died.

Liam leaned against a tree, arms crossed over his chest as he looked to Scott. "Is there a reason we're standing on dead bodies, surrounded by trees, and not somewhere nice?Like say, out in the open where it's bright, shiny and optimistic?"

Isaac, Hayden and Parrish laughed at that, Scott just looked at him with an eyebrow raised. "We needed to be alone, there's few places to be alone here and this is one of them."

They all sobered up, realizing that he was right. They hadn't had much of a chance to talk since they'd arrived in the Glade.

Scott looked at Lydia, "tell us what you remember."

She looked at Scott, then Derek, and cleared her throat to speak. "We were going on a trip, to the beach I believe. All of us, when we got taken. They were trained on how to apprehend supernatural creatures. Took all of you down easily. We were taken to a building somewhere close to the beach, I'm not sure where. Everyone was in bad shape, they used something in their bullets to knock all of you unconscious, except Derek and I. Us two were thrown into a room along with Scott and we had to choose who their first test subject would be. Scott volunteered, but they used Derek anyway. They hurt him badly, using wolfsbane and electric shocks, he was barely breathing by the time I gave in."

Lydia paused, looking at Derek with his squinting eyes and crossed arms. "It hurt me, watching you get tortured. But they wanted the impossible from me, I wasn't even sure how to do what they wanted me to do."
