Chapter 9
The next day
It was noon. We leave in an hour. I already had everything on my list done except the last one.
I gulp. I don't think I can do this. I start to refold my clothes to give me something to do.
My mom came in. "Hey Rebecca, I know what you're doing."
I look up but continue refolding. "I don't know what you're talking about."
She sighs and sits on the floor next to me. "I know you're doing this to get out of saying goodbye to Niall."
Haha that's what you think. I thought.
"Go, Rebecca."
I shake my head and let out a nervous laugh.
Next thing I know my mom is pushing me out the door, into the pouring rain. I bang on the door, only to hear it lock.
Great. *Cough* sarcasm *cough*
I look at my watch. I leave in ten minutes.
I sigh and walk towards Niall's door.
I guess it's now or never.
