Comfortable. Cozy. Warm.
That's how I felt right now. Rubbing my eyes I sat up.
Suddenly realizing this was definitely not my room. Around me was dark walls as the sun peeked through one of the windows off to the side. The silk red covers were so nice around me as I rubbed my hands on them.
I felt so relaxed. This was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on since forever.
Coming back to reality, I got out of bed and went straight to the door in front assuming it was the bathroom.
Hesitating I slowly open it, there it was entire different scheme. The bathroom was so nice. The walls were all white with marble tiles and counters.
Turning towards the mirror, I looked at myself. My hair was a mess first off, it literally looked like I was rolling around in bed all night. My eyes were a little puffy probably from the crying. But there was something different, my eyes bags weren't as dark as before, my skin actually kinda looked like it was glowing but don't know.
Walking away, I did my business and quickly washed my hands then tried to comb my hair with my fingers to make it look somewhat decent. Not wanting to scoop anywhere else, I quickly walked out.
Heading towards the door, I didn't know where to go but wanted to get out of here.
Slowly looking out the door, I looked both ways down a very long hallway. Stepping out, closing the door behind me decided to go right hoping to run into someone or something.
Turning a corner, I noticed an older lady with some blankets in her hands heading towards one of the room.
Quickly I sped walk to her before she could close the door. She must have felt my presence as she turned around and smiled at me.
"Oh yes dear, how may I help you?"
Bowing down towards me then looking back up.What the hell?
I grabbed her arm gently pulling her back up. Shaking my head at her trying to tell her that she didn't need to do that.
With a surprised face, she smiled. "Oh, but I thought you were...um never mind...I didn't mean to offend you I am just one of the maids and...I am supposed to do that."
I just nodded my head and smiled. There we just stared at one other as I made my hand gesture towards my mouth to tell her sorry don't speak.
"Oh you don't speak dear?"
I nodded my head, looking down embarrassed.
She grabbed my hand as she begin to pull me down the hallways.
"It's okay my dear, I understand.
How about I take you downstairs to the Alpha, he probably wants to see you."Following behind her, we went down a flight of stairs. As I just followed her, I tried to process what she just said.
'Alpha'
What was an Alpha? Or who was that? And why did she seem like she knew something that I didn't?
As we made it to the bottom of the stairs, we passed by the kitchen. The smell was amazing as I then saw some men eating away. Many suddenly turned at my sight as I looked away, feeling uncomfortable.
I didn't realize that we were in front of two large doors until she patted me on the shoulders.
"Darling are you alright? Do you need something to drink?" I turned towards her and just shook my head.
