11. New Home

As we walked back upstairs, a lot was running through my mind.

They did what they did, knowing my father had no remorse. I felt nothing for them no more, I don't even know why I continue to call them my parents, now that I know the truth.

At this moment, I couldn't believe that this was my life, my reality.

I know that Nate didn't do anything revolving my parent's death but he knew from the beginning and didn't tell me. Like Jason, he isn't my real brother but he protected me from them and treated me as his sister yet knew what was going to happen to my parents and left me with them.

I felt that I still needed space from the both of them but myself was still pushing to be with Nate no matter what, like all my emotions were mixed up.

When he was away from me, I felt like I was missing something but then I'll feel upset with him because of what happened then back to forgiving him.

I felt that my heart was missing a piece and it was him.

I still had questions especially for him.

I stopped right there in the middle of the hallway as I stared up at Nate.

"You okay?" He asked as I leaned up and pecked his check. Bowing my head slightly to say 'thank you'

He smiled as he grabbed my hand and led us to the room.

"What's going on in that pretty little mind of yours too? Because I feel too much emotions right now."

Shaking my head, I thought 'Why haven't you killed them?'

He sighed as he stared at the wall then looked back at me. "Because of Jason"

There he grabbed my hand again and kept walking while continuing to talk to the room.

"Sadly those are still Jason's parents even though we don't treat them as his parents, I know he still feels something. But trust me I wanted to kill them the moment I found out what they did to you."

Nodding my head, I leaned my head against his arm as we were almost there.

He softly nodded his head. "Yeah and back then, they had blackmailed us. Threatening my family and the pack. Of course, back then we didn't have that much as we do now. More protection, more alliances. But we only lent them the money not too ago because apparently they needed it and tried to threaten others around even humans so to avoid that and didn't know if they truly still had contacts with our enemies, we gave it. But it also allowed us to know where they were. They had stayed really hidden from us for awhile until they decided to come back. Figured it was time now to get them as my patience was running really thin with them already and had told Jason we were going." He opened the bedroom door and lead us inside.

"But now, I don't give a shit anymore and definitely have revenge to do on them." He closed the door and sighed as he sat us on the edge of the bed.

"Um so listen my love..." but before he could finish I interrupted him. Pushing my fingers towards his lips as I wanted to say something well think.

I pointed towards my head as I thought 'I'm...sorry.'

Furrowing his eyebrows, he tilted my head towards him. "For what love?"
