Asher's POV:

"And keep the doors locked."  I was beyond mad at my brothers, my blue eyes filled with fury and mischief. Nervously cracking my knuckles, I quietly thanked Cody for the clothes. I was surprised that they actually fit me, and I was dissapointed that I lost my favorite pair of skinnyjeans and a nice tee.

Clenching and unclenching my jaw, I gave a worried look back to Cody and Kacey as he came up and locked the door behind me as I shut it. Running a hand through my thick black hair, I walked the half block to my small house I had purchased with the money I had stolen before I left Vegas.

I heard various voices with mumblings and growls coming from the small white house, my heartbeat instantly increasing. It's now or never, I thought to myself, sucking in a huge breath before storming into the building.

"What the hell?!" I shouted, my three brothers turning to me with surprised expressions. "I thought we gave you a run for your money!" The eldest, Tate, replied with a hint of a smirk.

"It'll be worse next time if you ever think about touching her again." I growled, my voice much deeper than it usually is.

"Oh, was that your little girlfriend, Asher?" The youngest out of us, Jake shot back. "You're thirteen, you little prick. Like you've ever had one."

I replied back, my voice coming out stronger than I thought it would. Jake gave me a disgusted look before looking at the second to oldest, Josh, to say something. After a few moments of deadly stares, I finally spoke up.

"Why did you come here? Why are you in my house, and why did you go after Kacey?" I asked, desperation filling my voice in the strongest way possible.

Jake smirked and looked at me with his almost black eyes, raising an eyebrow. "Oh, so Kacey's her name. I might get me some of that." He joked, but in the nastiest way possible.

It took me everything from not jumping on him right then and there, before Tate looked at me with his grey eyes, a warning look flashing through them.

Yeah, I took them on one-on-three earlier, but that was when my emotions were all over the place, and I was furious.

Tate was twenty, but still pulled of as eighteen or nineteen because he was supposed to be in his senior back in Vegas. He had sandy blonde hair, with grey eyes, and a nicely built body but it was on the lanky side.

A werewolve's eyes and hair can usually tell you a lot about their wolf, such as Tate's. His wolf was a sandy color, with splotches of white and grey, and his eyes were grey as well. He was usually the leader, the one that spoke first and that everyone listened to.

Josh, the second to oldest, had dark brunette hair with bright green eyes, and he was taller than Tate, but pretty lanky and not that buff. His wolf was dark and light brown, with green eyes. He was the sarcastic one of the brothers, and rarely followed orders or rules at all.

Jake, the little prick, had blonde hair that stuck up in a quiff, with really weird dark navy blue, almost black eyes. People called him the Devils' son, and he might as well be. He's thirteen and an idiot, thinking he's the best thing in the world. His wolf was light grey with his almost black eyes, and he was more of the follower of the brothers, although he can make some stupid snarky remarks here and there.

"We came from Vegas because our family was taken to DC by the government. Mom, dad, Kelly, Ash, and Jenna." He started, as I nodded and rolled my eyes. I knew all the members of the family, it's not like I never met them or anything.

"We escaped, but barely. After a few weeks, they gave up looking for us. So we came here to find you, because you may be able to help us hide and then help our family escape." Tate finished, earning a sarcastic laugh from me.

"You're kidding, right?" I started, the three looking at me with dead serious eyes. "You just went after two of my friends, banged me up pretty bad, and now you're asking for my help?!" I spit, my voice raising. I could feel the huge cut on my shoulder throbbing now, various brusies and cuts now revealing themselves when they touched the thick fabric of Cody's sweatshirt.

I could feel my wolf threatening to come out again, and I was about to let it. I growled low and deep, my brothers taking a step back and raising their hands a little.

"Well, well... We thought you cou-" Josh began, before I cut him off. "Don't! Don't talk to me. Don't get near Kacey and her brother, and if I find out you hurt anyone that I know, or anyone in general, I swear to the heavens I will kill you." I warned, by bright blue eyes threatening and serious.

I didn't consider them family anymore, and I never would again. So I wouldn't hesitate to kill any of them, and frankly I wanted to at the moment.

But there was one problem. Wherever family lived, the family was permitted to live also. One rule of being a werewolf, was that you had to share your territory with family. So that meant, they could stay at my house.

"Well, we're not leav-" Jake began, and I cut him off. "Yeah, I know. So I'm leaving." I replied, sending him a disgusted look before going into my room and pulling out the huge duffel bag I bought when I came here.

I stuck in some clothes, whatever I needed for my showers, some hair product, my guitar and my iPod, as well as my laptop, and various chargers. Stuffing it all in, I made my way back out into the livingroom, and without a word, I stepped out of the house and slammed the door hard enough to break it; and I was surprised it didn't.

I had to ask Cody and Kacey to let me stay with them. I had to. I had to protect her, Cody as well, and I didn't want them to get hurt. I knew their parents were away in Europe for some business reasons, and wouldn't be back for a while yet, and hopefully by the time they do get back, this whole thing with my family would be over.

Knocking on the door with my head hung low, an instinct to show submission, Cody opened the door. As I looked up I saw Kacey behind him with wide green eyes, before tearing my gaze away from hers and looking up at the senior.

"Hey, um.. My brothers kinda took over my house. They're permitted to live there, it's sort of like pack territory so they don't have to leave.." I rambled, my blue eyes looking up in desperation. Before I could continue, Cody spoke up.

"You can stay, we have a guest room." Cody permitted, and my eyes grew wide. "Is it alright with you, Kacey?" He asked, and she stood there for a moment with our gazes locked, before nodding frantically.

"Y-Yeah," My lips curved up into a wide smile, before they stepped aside and let me in. "I'm gonna check on the pizza, Kacey will show you to your room." Cody announced, as Kacey motioned for me to follow her.

This house was a mansion compared to mine, and I'd consider myself rich if I got to live here. Well, I guess I do now..

"This is your room. Is everything alright with your brothers?" Kacey asked, her sweet voice ringing out through the neat room as I set my duffel bag on the bed.

"Not really. My brothers want my help to go get the rest of my family from Washington DC, where the Government is doing reasearch on them as we speak." I replied, her green eyes widening.

"Wouldn't you like to go help your family?" She questioned, and I looked down with a sigh. Now was not the right time to be talking about my past, so I shook it off.

"It's a long story." I replied, and she nodded slowly, hopefully understanding what I meant when I said that.

"Well, Cody's making pizza so you can come down whenever you want." Kacey mentioned, and I nodded. "Thanks,"

I replied with a wink before I saw her face redden, and exit the room. It was going to be even harder to control my emotions and hormones since I'm in the same house as her now, but I somehow knew it would be alright.

But the real question was, why did my brothers want my help?

We're on a roll today, huh? It's Red's and I's last day of Winter break, so we decided to get a lot in. Comment, vote, and tell us what you think! Thank you,
