Katy is in a black body bag in the back of an ambulance. A black liquid from a hole near the zipper. The EMT thanks Rebecca for her help and says they can take it from here but she decides she wants to ride in the ambulance too and doesn't take no for an answer, she tells the detective to find her son.
A nameless shaman forces Eli down the steps into the Thompson's basement. He hears something in the darkness and fumbles for the light switch. As the light comes on, he sees Dillan and Eric trussed up and hanging from a support beam by a tangle of electrical wire. Black Gaffer's tape covers their mouths.
Detective Thompson is trying to investigate the disappearance of Eli and Katy's death but he can't focus. In the locker room he asks Dakota and Wong to try calling and emailing Eli and to contact the detective if they hear anything at all. They tell him Eli is probably just freaked out by all the attention after he scored the winning goal.
Coach Fins gets a little emotional explaining how much he needs Dakota on the court. He explains that, even though he yells a lot, he doesn't hate the guys on the team, except Gorth "because, well, he's Gorth." He encourages Dakota to improve her grades so she will be eligible to play next season because he needs her on the team. Dakota says she will.
Once everyone leaves the locker room, Dakota rips the door off Eli's locker. She says she and Wong will track him by scent. Dakota takes a shirt to smell and hands Wong a shoe. Before they can follow this course, Marco and, much to Dakota's surprise, Lockwood show up.
In the Thompson's basement, Eli attempts to untie Eric but gets a shock from the obviously electrified wire that binds him. Luca enters explains that he won't bother to torture Dillan and Eric because the instinct to protect their Alpha is too strong for them to betray Lockwood.
Eli attempts to stand up to Luca. He explains that Dakota will find him by scent because his has a pungent scent "more like a stench" and that Dakota could find him "even if I was buried at the bottom of sewer covered in fecal matter and urine". Luca compliments Eli's ability to create a vivid picture then paints one of his own, of Dakota finding Eli blooded and beaten to a pulp.
Eli then points out that Luca is like 390 and says he can kick his ass up and down the room. Luca replies with a strong backhand across the face. He then punches Eli senseless.
Dakota confronts Marco about Lockwood's involvement. Marco confronts Dakota about her conversation with Luca. Dakota's defense is that Luca threatened to kill her father and she had to get close to him. Lockwood sides with Dakota saying that Mr. Preston is gorgeous. Both Dakota and Marco tell him to shut up.
Wong is wondering about the other skin walker. Dakota gives him the abbreviated version. "That's Luca, Dianna's uncle. A little while back he tried to kill us all and we set him on fire and Dianna laid a charm that banished him from our land." Dakota wonders how he's broke the charm but Marco deflects the question saying that Lockwood knows how to stop and perhaps save Katy. Wong informs them that Katy is dead. Lockwood says Luca forced Katy to kill herself.
Mr. Preston arrives in RJ's room and finds him talking to Luca. Mr. Preston confronts him about what happened at the game. Luca says they won. Mr. Preston explains that he's talking about Katy. Mr. Preston asks RJ to step aside since one of his friends is dead. RJ says that's Marco's fault too. He blames him for all of it, Shane, his mom and Katy. Mr. Preston asks him what happens if Dakota dies too. RJ questions his motives asking him when he started caring about Dakota. Mr. Preston says he cares about her. RJ throws it back in his face saying he should be proud because he is doing exactly what Preston wanted him to do. Mr. Preston says he is not doing what he wants, he's doing what Luca wants. RJ says he wants to go to bed and reminds him that he owes him a new gun. Mr. Preston picks up his shot gun and breaks it in half. He says he owes RJ a new one of those now too.
