A text message causes Katy to leave school and drive to a warehouse where a line of kids, including Steph, is trying to buy tickets to a "secret show." Katy does not seem to be in control of her actions. Steph, fearful after their last exchange during which she believes Katy "punched" her, allows her to cut the line.
Dakota is lurking. She joins the line and asks Steph about ticket prices. They are $75 each, which Dakota doesn't have. She asks Steph to borrow the full ticket price to which Steph merely shakes her head.
Katy focuses on the woman selling tickets behind the wooden bars of a freight elevator. As she purchases a single ticket, her attention makes the woman nervous and she abruptly ends sales and takes the elevator up.
Rebecca and Eli eat dinner together at the morgue. Eli notices the murder board which is pinned to the wall behind his mother's head. On it, all the evidence of the recent killings is spread out in photographs and scraps of paper.
Together they go over the pieces. Rebecca has figured out that the couple in the cabin and the mechanic are all 24 years old. At first she believed this to be pattern to which the death of Wong's father did not fit but then she realized that he had another son, named Nic who would have fit the pattern had he not been killed in combat.
Eli figures out they would have all been in the same class at school and they search classroom records and the 2006 SDCI yearbook for more possible victims. All of the victims up till this point seem to have been connected through Happy's intermediate English class.
The students listed in the class are:
◾ Tucker Cornish (killed)
◾ Sean Long (killed)
◾ Jessica Bartlett (killed)
◾ Nic Lee (Wong's brother also killed)
◾ Daphne Hayes
◾ Anna Basso
◾ Christie Stephens
◾ Kathleen Kasinger
◾ Brenda Findlay
◾ Jade Holmes
◾ Shena Hammer
◾ Collete Knight
◾ Patrick Duggar
◾ Maloria Irvine
◾ Johnny Langford
In the 2006 yearbook he sees a picture of the girl he'd seen earlier selling tickets to the concert. Her name is listed as Kara Simmons.
At the morgue, Eli and his Mother look at the bodies of the latest familiar victims. His mother explains that there are two killers because Sean was killed by one and Jessica was killed by another.
Mrs. Thompson quotes Winston Churchill "The price of greatness is responsibility. "To RJ. She says Lockwood quoted it to her when he first learned their family were shaman. Personally, Mrs. Thompson believes it's more about knowledge. She says because they know about the supernatural elements of the world they have an obligation to protect humanity. They are therefore responsible for the deaths of Sean and Jessica and the future of their daughter who will now grow up without parents. She says the Shaman are there to protect anyone who doesn't have the power to protect themselves.
She is trying to get RJ to confess all he knows about the creature. She says she's seen the CCTV footage from the library at school. RJ gives in and offers up information about Katy.
Marco and Wong meet Dakota at the tea shop. The two younger supernatural bicker. Dakota says she doesn't trust him, because he is part of Lockwood's pack, Wong says the feeling is mutual. Marco says he doesn't care. Dianna wants to know if they plan to kill Katy or save her. Marco says kill. Dakota says save.
