I awoke the next morning after my fateful encounter with Emma and Izzy. I sluggishly pulled myself up to my feet and shot a glance over at Scott. However, he was nowhere in sight. Tired, I walked out of my new home in search of where he was.

Apparently, I found Scott standing on a long, sturdy branch of a nearby tree. He had this weird triumphant look upon his face which could only mean one thing. He was finally off of his period. Just kidding! Anyway, so he was standing in the tree.

"Hey Shit for brains, get down here now! I'm starved!" I decided to tease him.

"I'm glad you think I have shit for brains!" He jumped down from the tree and landed next to me. His brown eyes were shining with contentedness. "Let's go!" He grabbed my arm and dragged me along.

"Where are we going?"

"A place."

"What kind of place?" I absolutely hated it when Scott toyed around with me.

"That's for me to know and you to find out!" He winked at me.

As it turns out, we had some more fish from the river near the house. On the way back, Scott spotted something on the ground which he just had to pick up. "Gwen! Look what I found!" He held up a pebble. I punched him as hard as I could right in his arm. He fell over laughing. All the while, I just rolled my eyes and continued along.

No matter how hard I struggled, Scott had to go and touch everything that caught his interest. Talk about bad luck! Why do I love him? was the only thought in my brain as we continued along at a snail's pace.

Finally, we reached the house, or what remained of it. By the time we got back, I saw Emma and Izzy with fricking sticks beating our house to smithereens. I was more than pissed, but Scott just had to hold me back from stealing both of the sticks and beating them senseless with the sticks.

"Why did you do this!?" I demanded to know. I just wanted an answer.

Izzy just shrugged. "I just wanted to see what would happen!" She swung the stick over her shoulder and marched away.

Emma put a hand on my shoulder. "There's nothing to worry about! You're only completely homeless! It could be a lot better." She rushed off to catch up with Izzy. On her way out, she made sure to give Scott a little farewell punch in the stomach.

I went over to Scott and put my foot on his chest. "What're we gonna do now smart-ass? Build another house? I think not!"

Scott's reply was a little hard to hear Maybe it was because I was stepping on him so hard? "Let's find our way to a nearby village or city. We could mooch off of someone else there."

I shrugged and grabbed Scott by the arm, dragging him along with me. "What the hell, I got nothing better to be doing."

"Could you at least stop dragging me while I'm lying on the ground? You can drag me around once I'm on my feet." Scott just happened to be whining again.

I hesitated for a split second. "Nope!" To make a point, I pulled harder on his arm than I had before.

"There went my arm..."
