Meeting the new him

I'm walking to the meeting place I looked around the corner and saw a tall slender guy that I didn't recognize... I walked up slowly and tapped him on the shoulder. He pulled his earbuds out and asked "brook?" I sheded a tear "Sebastian?" He looked shocked and pulled me into a hug and I wrapped my arms around him while crying "it's really YOU" I nodded while hugging him... of course the first thing I asked about him was "what's your life been like since your parents took you in?" He smiled "it's great I love everything about it, what about you?" I frowned "not as well as your life I guess, my parents are never home, I get sad." He hugged me tighter " happy late birthday " he pulled out a present and pulled himself out of the hug and gave me the gift... at that moment I got a call... guess who, my mom. I told him I had to answer and when I did I immediately got scolded for leaving the house "where are you Brooklyn?! Your supposed to be home working on chores and taking care of the animals and homework" I looked at Sebastian "hey mom can my "old" friend come over?" She sighed and said "sure..." I was excited and grabbed his hand and started pulling him while running, he was laughing and smiling. "The house is HUGE I mean huge!" We were almost there when we got there I entered the gate passcode. We entered and he froze in awe "this... this is your home?!" I looked at my feet "Y...yeah" he smiled and ran up to the door and knocked. "Silly I live here come on in!" I grabbed his hand and ran inside "hi mom! This is Sebastian remember him from the orphanage?" She smiled "yes, you talked about him constantly." I turned red "MOM" I grabbed his hand again and ran to my room. He sat on my bed... he was looking around. He looked at me and had this desired look of wanting. I walked to him slowly and sat on his lap. He was shocked, I was laughing and fell off. He sat there "hey... is everything ok?" He nodded but said "can you check out your gift?" I looked over at the present and opened it slowly looking at him... when I opened it was a small black box with a removable top. Before I removed the top I looked at him "w...what's this?" He nodded gesturing for me to open it so I removed the lid slowly. It was the picture I had given to himg as a kid and I flipped it over and it said "I'm moving in a year unless I can change my moms mind" I was so shocked a tear fell down my face. I looked over at him "ask your mom now! If you can sleep over here! Right now Sebastian!" He was surprised but he did it anyway
