Chapter 11- come on jane

(A/n time skip 6 days)

Harry's pov:
I wake and quickly get changed, wanting to see if Jane has made any improvement. As I walk into her room I see her still 'sleeping' peacefully, or at least what looks like peacefully. I sit beside her bed and gently open her eyelids, seeing that the red that signifies an angry jael, starting to fade 'Mitch her eyes are starting to go back to normal' I mind link him 'ok that either means that she's going to wake up soon or she's losing the fight, I'll get you off duty today, I want you to stay with her and let me know if anything at all happens' he mind links back, I slightly get scared but remind myself to stay strong for her, I lean back in the seat and gently hold her hand, feeling her pulse on my fingers, I push a bit of hair out of her eyes and trace over the birthmark near her ear.

Lachlan's pov:
'I love you lachlan, if I don't make it, tell dad and Harry that I fought as best as I can for you guys' a weak voice which I can only determine as Jane's mind links me 'harry how is she? She just mind linked me' I mind link him 'she's doing alright right now, I'm just really worried because her eyes aren't fading like they usually do, they're turning grey' he mind links back 'call Mitch now, I'll call everyone else needed and we'll meet in her room' I mind link back "Vik are we finished?? We need to go, Jane might be slipping" I say to Vik as I mind link josh and Preston. "Let's go" he replies and we sprint back to the house in our wolf forms. We sprint into Jane's room and shift back before josh sees us, I approach Jane's side and see Mitch checking her vitals, he opens her eyelids and I freeze at the site "something is definitely going to happen today, I don't know what exactly but I think we should prepare for the worst" Mitch mumbles with a frown, I look sideways at Preston and instantly know what he's feeling "josh, get Preston out of here, he's having an episode" I say, josh nods and they both leave the room "Lachlan, what's going to happen?" Harry whispers as Mitch moves away to set everything up with vik's help "I honestly don't know harry, all I know is she's fighting as much as she can right now, we need to prepare just in case" I say back, I grab hold of Jane's other hand and her voice fills my head again 'I'm sorry'. A few tears escape my tears and I open my mouth to talk a bit "Jane I know you might not be able to hear me but keep fighting, it's not your time to die, especially not to coltons hands, we've just found you, Harry's just found you, you can't leave us yet. Keep fighting, I know you can do it, I believe in you and I will never stop believing in you." I say, a few tears landing on her face. I Feel something move against my finger and realise she just twitched "guys, she just twitched" I say as I move more forward in my seat. Mitch and Vik come back to her bed and that's when all hell breaks loose. "Her pulse has stopped in my finger" Harry says as he quickly turns her wrist over to check it, I reach over and put my hand under her nose, feeling nothing I leans my head on her chest, both looking, feeling and listening for a sign to say she's breathing "she not breathing Mitch!!" I say as I fly back into my seat. " come on Jane, push, please" Harry's now sob filled voice says 'don't try to do anything, let me be' Jane says more weakly then ever "she's saying not to try and resuscitate her, for some reason she's only mind linking me" I say, I look up at Harry and notice that he's trying not to break down, I wipe my own tears and hold Jane's hand tighter 'please fight Jane, I can't live without you' I try to mind link her, her hand twitches again and she ends up holding my hand tightly, she goes loose as her head tilts to the side, but her grip remaining tight on me "no... don't tell me" I say, Harry checks her eyes and nods as he gulps down tears "she's gone" he says, I nod to Vik and then at harry and he leads harry away to comfort him "she isn't letting go is she?" Mitch asks, I shake my head and his eyebrows raise "ok i know what's happening, I'm going to get out before it happens and I'll make sure no one else enters, you'll know what to do once it happens" Mitch says, quickly leaving both the room and me in confusion "I can't believe it, at least you fought as much as you could, I don't care about that promise anymore, I just want you back" I mumble as i breakdown in tears, I watch as they fall onto her face and see her eye twitch, I sit back and wait.

Jane's pov:
Everything is black, I can hear everything now but I'm still fighting the poison, I see a little speck of white light in front of me and instantly leap my way towards it, but a dark force pulls me back, it's icy cold fingers grabbing me at the waist, as I puts me down I continue trying with no luck, trying my hardest to wake up. "At least you fought as much as you could, I don't care about that promise anymore, I just want you back" I hear Lachlan say, I think about all the memories I've had with everyone since I got here and I remember my promise I made to him when I was young.

Young Jane: promise each other that we won't die in each other's arms?
Young Lachlan: I promise only if you promise
Young Jane: I promise with all my heart

I gather up all the strength I can muster and push my way to the light, pushing off the grasp of the dark force as it continuously tries to pull me back, I reach the light and soon am engulfed in it. As I wake I sit straight up, anger overcoming both me and jael, I gasp for breath as my hands curl in fists "WHERE IS SHE!!" Jael shouts "shhh, it's ok, your ok and everyone else is ok. Deep breaths, ok? I'm here, everything is ok" Lachlan says from beside him, I take control of my body as I begin crying, throwing myself into his embrace, my eyes turn back to normal and I realise how weak I am, I lay myself back down "where are they?" I ask as I play with my mums ring and Harry's promise ring "outside, are you sure your ready? They think you're dead" he replies, I roll my eyes "I know they think that, I was able to hear everything today, just please let whoever is out there in, please Lachy" I say, he smiles and nods, heading to the door "guys there's something you want to see" he says as he sticks his head out, the door opens and a very sad looking harry and dad enter the room "now now, turn those frowns upside down" I say weakly, their head lift up and they both burst into tears "am I dreaming?" They both say at the same time "come here and I'll see if you are" I reply with a smile, they both come towards me and I pinch their cheeks, their eyes widen and they engulf me in hugs "b-b-but you died!!" Harry shouts "no she didn't, she used up all her energy and it made her body shutdown, she was supposed to wake up later but I guess something that Lachlan said triggered something within her that helped her push through" Mitch says, I turn to Lachlan "a promise is a promise isn't it" I say. Everyone starts talking to one another and I slowly drift off to sleep, my mind at rest as harry slips in next to me.
