Chapter 3- training

Jane's pov:
I wake up to the sound of Tobi blaring his alarm in my ear "ok I get it, I'm up" I groan as I roll off the bed "come on you're already late, I'll try and go easy on you since it's your first day" he says as he repeatedly kicks my stomach lightly, I stand up and trod over to the bathroom "get me an outfit please, I could honestly spend years in that closet" I say, I wash my face and put my hair in a ponytail, careful not to pull any hair out, I look in the mirror and see that I couldn't hide the black heart near my ear "birthmark?" Tobi asks as he enters the bathroom with the clothes "yea, I'm surprised you all didn't notice it when I was shifted" I say, Tobi passes me the clothes and leaves the room, I quickly get changed and follow him out.

Tobi's pov:
'Josh what's the birthmark Preston has?' I mind link him as I wait for Jane 'It's black, and I think a heart or something like that, why?' He asks 'the next time you see Jane, look just above her right ear' I answer, jane come out of the bathroom and I smile at her "ready?" I ask as I slowly walk towards her door "yep" she replies.

*time skip training*

Alana's pov:
"Are we done yet?" I ask as I squat with my hands behind my head, catching my breath "yea we are, but josh wants you to meet the two other members of the pack, they've just arrived" Tobi answers, I stand up and turn to him "you mean Preston and weird beard?" I ask, he laughs "how'd you know Rob has a weird beard?" He asks "I honestly don't know" I say, we start walking back towards the house and I remember what Jael wanted me to ask Tobi "hey Tobi, what's it like to have a mate?" I ask, he stops and turns to me "well sometimes your wolf will scream it at you when you look at them but in your case, not knowing about what being a wolf is about, you feel this pull towards the person, like your meant to protect them. You also feel nervous but confident at the same time when you're around them, they make you feel safe and like you can say anything to them. They can calm you down no matter how much your upset or freaking out and they don't care who they have to talk back to if it's to protect you" he says. I nod 'jael, have we found my mate? Is that why Harry talked back to josh?' I ask her 'I think we have, we'll see when we see him again' she answers, I get nervous as I think of seeing him again "Jane, I know that look, have you found him?" Tobi asks, I look at the ground a bit as I blush. Tobi places three fingers under my chin and lifts it up so that I look at him "who?" He asks quietly, my eyes change slightly brighter as I smile "we think it might be Harry, we aren't sure yet" I answer shyly "awwwww" he replies, I punch him in the arm and run off back to the house. "You better run!" He yells playfully as he shifts, I keep running until he steps in front of me "I don't know how to shift without loosing control... won't it hurt?" I ask Tobi, he shakes his head and shifts back for a moment "focus on your wolf form, let Jael come out, I promise she won't take control" he says as he puts his hands on my shoulder gently 'I wont' jael repeats, I close my eyes as I imagine me in my wolf form "ok open your eyes" I hear him say, I open them and tilt my head as I realise I have to look up at him, I look back down and jump a little as I see my paw, I prance about happily as Tobi shifts, I roll around on the floor a little until Tobi decides to jump onto me, we roll around a little and wrestle a bit before running back to the house. As I burst thought the trees I slow down, waiting for Tobi. He comes out of the forrest and we walk into the house "finally" josh says from behind us and I jump again, he chuckles and I chase my tail for a bit "come on, there's people I want you to meet" josh says, I follow him as my nerves start up again. We enter the living room and my eyes instantly lock onto Harry's 'MATEEE!!!' Jael screams, I walk in and walk towards the group, lying down in front of Harry's feet, Tobi comes in after he shifts back and he looks at me with a raised eyebrow, I nod at him and he slightly celebrates at the fact I found my mate.

Tobi's pov:
'I noticed the mark, it's the same as Preston's one' josh mind links me as I shift back 'I know and I think she's found out harry is her mate' I mind link back as she nods at me 'that will be great news for harry' he says, I take a seat and wait until the conversation dies out.

Alana's pov:
I can't stop looking at Preston, I feel like there is something about him that I should remember, my eyes catch hold of the back heart above his ear and I think to myself 'have you found me?' I try to contact the male whose voice I always hear, i see Preston tense a bit and I hear his voice fill my head 'I don't think so' he says 'can I ask, are you a family member?' I say, I see Preston smile slightly 'yea'. "Preston, rob this is Jane, boys this is Jane" josh says introducing us 'do you have the heart birthmark above your right ear?' I ask him 'how'd you know' he asks back, I shift back somehow and shake their hands "nice to meet you" I say, Preston's eyes widen a bit and I giggle to myself, I sit next to Harry and lean over to whisper to him "hi". "Jane turn your head for a bit" Preston asks, I turn my head already knowing what's happening 'did you see it' I ask, I see his mouth gape a bit and I turn back around "now can you please tell me who you are towards me, you've found me now" I ask, everyone looks as us confused and Preston goes shy "I-I- I'm your father" he stutters, my heart beats faster in shock as memories flash through my head, my jaw drops to the floor, eyes tearing up. 'Uncle rob?' I ask, trying to communicate with rob, he nods and I look towards Mitch and Jerome "hey there little one" they both say at the same time, I laugh and a few tears leave my eyes, I turn to Vik and Lachlan 'uncle Vik and cousin Lachlan?' I ask, Lachlan's eyes widen and Vik smiles 'I missed you Jane' Vik replies. I burst into tears and Harry hugs me "I missed you dad" I mumble loud enough for him to hear, I hear aww's fill the room and I'm pulled into another hug, I look up to see Preston smiling down at me "I thought I would never find you" he says as his eyes tear up "I can't believe I didn't recognise my own cousin" Lachlan says as he puts his head in his hands "it's ok little Lachy, it's been ages" I laugh a bit, I wipe my eyes and hold tightly onto Preston "guys can me and my family have a bit of privacy, I want to know what's true" I ask the pack as I pull away from Preston, they all nod and get up but I stop harry for a second "I learnt something about being a wolf, you should be happy" I whisper, I kiss his cheek and watching him almost burst with happiness, he walks out of the room and I turn back to face everyone "dad what happened? Where did it all go wrong?" I ask looking down "did you just call me dad?" Preston asks and I can see a smile crawl upon his face "it will take some time for me to get use to it but yes I did, but let's stick to what I asked, what happened?" I ask again, he smile fades and he leads me back to the couch "well you aren't just a typical wolf, when you were one alpha Colton found out what you are and attacked our pack, we obviously thought back but many lives were lost, I-including your mothers" dad says, my heart breaks into two "h-how?" I ask stuttering "one of them beheaded her..."Vik says, I go silent as I fumble my fingers "we all started grieving over your mother that none of us noticed that Colton snatched you and ran off... we've been looking for you ever since, so many lives lost, and we could've lost the most precious one of them all" rob finishes off the story for dad, I feel my blood start to boil "guys is it ok if I go for a walk for a bit, I don't want you to see me angry" I say as I feel my eyes start to turn red "go ahead, but make sure you tell me when you start to head back" dad says, I hug him before running off, making my way out of the house before shifting, I run into the forest and off towards the beach, my anger overtaking me as Jael takes control, my eyes turning bright red. After a bit of kicking sand I lay down for a bit, eventually falling asleep. Everything around me turns to a light purple and a beautiful wolf walks towards me "Jane you won't remember who I am but I'm your mother. I just want to know what everyone that died that night, died to save you, it's ok to feel scared and it's ok to be sad. You are stronger, faster and smarter then everyone thinks, you can sense when someone in your family, in your pack and you're mate is in danger, you are a very special wolf. You were the first born of an alpha which is usually a boy, but as you can see, you're obviously a girl. I must be off right now but I'll see you and your father soon" she says, she begins to fade but I can't help but notice her bloody neck, the sign of her beheading.

Harry's pov:
"Harry Jane ran off into the forest half an hour ago. she's really angry and I'm slightly worried about her, I know you're her mate and I was wondering if you could make sure she's fine" Preston says as he bursts into my room, I instantly get up "what's she mad about?" I ask "her mothers death" he says with a frown.
