Chapter 22- oh no

Jane's pov:
I get thrown to the ground yet again after yet another beating, I stay on the ground as he increases the barrier around me, weakening me to the point where I can't get up. "You have a visitor in an hour, look good" Colton spits, I roll my eyes and he leaves, I crawl into the corner and try to conjure up some of my power to heal myself even the tinyest bit 'we're coming for you jane' Harry mind links me, the sound of his voice seeming like he is very far away. I'm able to heal a few cuts but blood still escapes from the rest of them, I re tie my hair up and put my head in my hands... please get here soon harry...

JJ's pov:
We enter coltons territory and both Jerome and Harry start sniffing around, finding Jane's scent again, their heads perk up at the exact same time and they run off in the same direction, we follow them knowing that they have her scent. We jump over broken branches and we stop as Jerome pauses in a spot "this is where her mother died... can we take a minute?" Preston asks as he shifts, josh nods and we all shift back, all of us going to do perimeter checks to make sure we are safe. "Boys he left us a message, he's trying to wind us up" Lachlan says, picking up a piece of paper and passing it to josh.

Josh's pov:
...Oh boys, I killed your precious alpha female and took your precious little girl, you took her back but I don't give up, so back to me she comes. Don't try to find her, it is probably already too late, and Harry sorry to say this but she's no longer your mate...

Oh god this is worse than I thought, this is bad, really bad. "Guys we need to hurry, Harry pass me your mark" I say, he walks over to me and rolls up his sleeve, reveal his mark, which is thankfully still there "oh thank god" I mumble, he gives me a questioning look "we need to hurry before it's too late, they're trying to strip her Mark off so Colton can take her for himself" I explain, his eye colour changes and he shifts, letting out a long and loud howl, the rest of us join him and he starts sprinting off in the direction of Jane's scent.

Jane's pov:
"We call upon the elements of the earth" the daywalkers says as she starts the ceremony, I tune out of her words and focus on harry and my new family, thinking and remembering all the times I spent with them. Everything goes black and an excruciating pain lunges through my shoulder, I scream and scream, wishing for it to stop. I start crying as I think about harry, wishing for him to save me and for him to stay safe, I think about every time he said he loved me and each time we kissed, all of our dates and when I realised he was my mate, my body gets used to the pain and I manage to stop screaming my head off. After about what feels like an hour, the pain in my arm strengthens as if someone is ripping my pack mark and my mate mark off, I don't scream though, knowing it will take advantage of me screaming "JANE?!?!" A voice shouts, my head starts to pound as I try to remember whose voice it is, only one thought from when I was young coming back to me "LACHLAN!!!!!!!!!!" I let out a loud high pitched scream, I hear a door burst down and I grab my arm in pain, crying my eyes out. After a while the pain starts dying out until it dies out completely, a burst of energy surges through my body and I stand up, my view comes into focus, I feel hands on my shoulders and I jump "shhh it's only me" Lachlan says "I love you lachy, but step away from me, NOW!!!" I shout, I push him away as the daywalker who helped kidnapped me tackles me to the ground, her fangs showing as she attacks me. I dodge all her punches and shift, my eyes turning red as jael finally takes over, I use the opportunity to heal myself, my magic fully restored, jael attacks the daywalker and pins her down as she rips the vein out of her neck, killing her instantly. I take back control and stand up, looking around as I watch my new family defend me "no josh!" I yell as I put my hand out towards him, seconds later a shield flies out of my fingers and wraps itself around josh, he realises what happened and gives me a look to tell me to be careful, I toss around more shields, protecting everyone in our pack, knowing that I wouldn't be able to last if one of them died. They continue fighting and I go into a corner to control all the shields, making sure they stay up "Alana be careful of how much you use" dad warns me "it's fine dad, i know my boundaries" I reply, I see harry break away from the fight "I forgot one thing" he whispers before his kisses me, I kiss back and throw a spear towards the enemy head towards us "bitch don't interrupt our kiss" I say which makes harry snicker. He goes back to fighting and I stand up as I continue making sure the shields are up, throwing the occasional dagger in an opponents direction when they get out of the shields reach to attack. All of a sudden the daywalkers vanish and I drop the shields, looking around "shit where are they!!" I shout, the boys walk closer to me and secure me into a circle "no matter what, protect Jane" josh says, the others nod and shift into their wolves but I stay still, all of a sudden my vision changes, red, orange and yellow lights surrounding the boys 'guys I think I have heat vision' I mind link them, they all turn to me "I'll be fine, you don't need to surround me" I add out loud, they break the circle and I focus on finding the daywalkers, I walk around the room and look around...nothing, that's weird... I stand still as I look around and I spot the figures in front of the guys before they appear "watch out! In front of you!!" I scream towards the guys as I throw a shield to cover the blow one of the daywalkers threw. I feel jael take over again as I shift and I hear a scream burst through my mind 'WATCH OUT!!!' It's Jj. A millisecond later I'm back on the floor, being pinned down as I the others fight.
