Chapter 9- I dont like her

Jane's pov:
It's been a few weeks since mine and Harry's date and we've gotten a hell of a lot closer, my relationship with everyone. Today I'm back on lookout duty with Vik and lachy, harry being on hunting duty with JJ and Simon, I throw on a pair of pants and a jumper, quickly making my way down for breakfast, I grab my plate and take a seat. Dad comes up behind me and I look back at him "so how's sleeping with harry been lately? Has he treated you good lately?" He asks, I laugh and he sits next to me "dad everything is perfect, I couldn't ask for anything more" I say, he smiles and I hug him "Harry's the best thing that's happened to me other than finding you" I add "well that's good I guess" harry says as he enters the room, I go red and hide my face in my jumper, making him and dad laugh, I feel hands pry my jumper around my head and lift my head up to see Harry "I thought I told you not to ever cover your face again, you're cute when you blush" he says I laugh and pull him down next to me but Vik walks in "jane we need to go" he says, I sigh and get up "I'll see you two later" I say before I jog to catch up with Vik, we meet up with Lachlan and shift as we start our patrol.

*as they come back*

I sniff the air a bit 'someone's around' jael says to me, I instantly get my claws out 'I smell someone nearby' I mind link Vik and Lachlan, I slowly creep towards the smell, keeping low as Vik and Lachlan follow me, I hear them both sniff the air 'I smell it too' they both mind link at the same time. We keep moving until the smell become too strong and I crouch down. 'Lone wolf, we should call josh' Lachlan mind links, I nod at vik and he mind links josh. The wolf keeps moving 'Lachlan stay with vik, i'm following it' I mind link him, I turn and follow the wolf, making sure I'm hidden, soon everyone joins me and we wait for Josh's signal. 'Now' he mind links us, we show ourselves and the wolf cowers back. Everyone except for me and JJ shift, me and JJ staying as wolves just in case "shift back, these two are harmless" josh says in his alpha voice, the wolf does as she's told and shifts back and my heart slightly drops at the sight of her ripped clothes "please, I'm sorry for entering your territory, I was running from someone" she says. I move back a bit, and venture a bit off into the Forrest, just incase, JJ shifts back though and he stands next to josh "what's your story?" Josh asks, as the female describes what happened to her I can't help but feel like something's off about her 'Jane, something's not adding up' jael says, basically solidifying my thought 'I know, but it's Josh's call' I say back "ok we'll give you one night, tomorrow morning we expect you to leave us" josh says, the female agrees and we all start walking back to the house. I come into sight and walk beside harry, nudging his leg a bit 'something's up with her' I mind link him 'are you sure it isn't just jealousy?' He asks, I fight the urge to stop and go off at him. 'I'm not jealous harry, something isn't adding up about her, and jael agrees, I don't like her, she's fishy' I say back with a of annoyance, I walk ahead of the group, making sure that I'm a close distance to everyone. As we near the house, I shift back, knowing that if I don't, josh will get angry, I enter the house in silence and head over to the kitchen, already starting to make lunch. "You're not pissed off at me are you?" Harry asks as he enters the kitchen, I turn around "no, I just can't shake the feeling that something's up with that girl, she won't even tell us her name" I mumble since everyone else is in the living room "it's fine, don't be so on edge" he replies, I sigh and push the weird feeling away as I yell into the house "LUNCH!!". I take mine and Harry's plate and we head into the living room as everyone goes into the kitchen "what are you doing after this?" Harry asks, I think for a moment "I'm going to go for a run" I reply "take someone with you, we don't want to risk someone getting hurt" josh says "fine I'll take lachy" I reply, I continue eating my food. Out of the corner of my eye I see the female glaring at me, making me feel slightly unsettled "did we introduce ourselves?" I ask her, she shakes her head and I fake chuckle a bit "well I'm Jane, this is harry" I say, the others introduce themselves and I lean my head on harry, he plays around with my ponytail and I laugh a bit "if you hear a few wolf calls or female jokes from them, just ignore it, they can get really immature sometimes, even in front of your mate" I say, glaring at JJ as I say that last bit, everyone laughs and JJ puts his hands in a heart towards me, I roll my eyes and sink back into harry again. "Jane we better get going before it gets dark" Lachlan says, I get up and we leave the house, shifting before we run off. 'I don't like that girl' I mind link him 'wait so your not the only who thought something was fishy with her story?' He asks, I stop 'wait so you agree with me?' I ask, we both shift back and he leads me to a nearby lake "something really seems wrong with her story, and the way she won't tell us her name" he says "yes I totally agree, I told harry but he said I was too on edge" I reply. "Trust me, you aren't, it just makes me worry that's she wants to cook dinner for us" he says, we both sigh at the same time and look at each other "she better not be making moves on harry or else she is done for" jael says, I didn't even notice her take control "jael can I please have Jane back, we need to go back" he asks, I regain control of my own body and laugh "didn't even notice her take control, sorry about that" I say, he smiles and hugs me, we get up and start heading back to the house, my head slightly more clearer than before.
