Chapter 17- free day for jane

Jane's pov;
I wake up with a sudden jolt 'it's only a nightmare Jane, go back to sleep' harry mind links me 'I'll try, it seemed so real' I reply, I lay my head back down and close my eyes, trying to sleep. After a while I give up, I can't stop thinking about that dream, it was so real that it's scary.

(Dream)
I run through the forest, trying to find my family, I pounce out of the clearing to see Colton and his two best fighters with harry, Lachlan and dad in their grips, with the others dead on the floor. I try and pounce on them but an invisible wall blocks me, I try using my magic and that doesn't even work, I watch as my family gets beheaded, each and every one of them. I cry but feel a hand on my shoulder, turning around I see the beheaded figure of my mother, with an axe in her hand, she lifts it up and I watch as she be heads me, her last words being "you killed them".

I silently cry to myself, heart beating faster and faster as I try to convince myself that it wasn't real. I quickly get up and pace my room, hands behind my neck as I focus on breathing normally. I open a portal to somewhere no one will be and walk through, I leave the portal open but sit just out of sight, I playing around with my magic and wipe my tears as I make things appear and disappear. "Jane? Oh" I hear dad say from the other side of the portal, he walks through and sits beside me "you ok?" He asks, I shake my head no and he pulls me into a hug "want to talk about it?" He asks "it's better if I show you. I say, holding his hand as I turn back to see he can see my dream.

*time skip*

As I finish breakfast I put the plate into the sink, making my way upstairs and back through the portal. I sit in it and think to myself, trying to get that dream out of my mind. I fall asleep again and dream peacefully, my mind kept clear but the blue surroundings. I wake up with my head on a pillow and a blanket draped on my body, I sit up and rub my eyes but they widen as I realise I'm late 'morning again babe, noticed you're a bit stressed, don't worry, josh let you off today, go eat something and I'll see you later tonight, love you' harry mind links me again, I smile and wrap the blanket around me as I walk out of the portal, closing it afterwards. I quickly skip down to the kitchen and make lunch for everyone, but get a drink for myself since I want to wait for them so we can eat together. I sit in silence, smiling to myself as I make tiny heart shields "boo!" Someone says from behind me as they place their hands on my shoulders, I scream a bit and they start laughing at me, causing me to turn around. "For fucks sake Tobi you piece of shit!!" I shout, he flops over the couch and sits next to me "what you just did was sook freaking cool, do it again" he practically begs. "You know I could've killed you when you scared me, luckily I was only playing around with sheilds" I reply as I make another shield appear, I grab Tobi's hand gently and place it under the shield, then I grip the shield and watch as it floats into his hand, staying there "it's cool isn't it?" I ask. I make the shield disappear as he nods and relax as he turns on the Tv, soon I start to wonder where the others are. "HELLO!!" Both JJ and Lachlan scream in my ears that makes me scream and levitate, they laugh and I clutch my chest as I calm down, I stop levitating and sit back down "Assholes" I mutter, Lachlan hugs me. "awww wittle Jane is angry cause we scweared her" Lachlan says in a kid voice, I slap him over the head and hug back "first Tobi then you two, this is why I hate being able to have a free day" I reply, everyone else appears and Lachlan let's go as hands cover my eyes "who? Wha-?" I start but the person uncovers my eyes, kneeling there is harry, holding a bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates "hello there" I laugh, he smiles and passes me the stuff before jumping on my lap "God you can be childish sometimes" I say into his shoulder, he giggles and I kiss him on the cheek "I made food for us" I say, everyone instantly jumps up and runs to the kitchen which makes me laugh "HARRY GET MY PLATE FOR ME!!" I scream after him as I put my stuff on the table. As he comes back he hands me my plate and I instantly tuck into it, we all eat in silence as Harry's head snuggles into my chest. "So how was your sleep Jane?" Dad asks as he puts his plate down "I needed that, after last night I felt like a zombie, thanks for letting me off by the way josh" I say, he looks up "no problem, but that's the last one for a while" he says the last bit a tiny bit more sternly, I nod and hand harry my plate to put back down. We all start chatting about our days and what happened, I feel harry fall asleep on my lap and I giggle slightly "what the hell did harry do today that made him so tired? His out like a lightbulb" I say, everyone shrugs except Simon "he had a race" Simon replies which makes everyone including me laugh, I quickly open a portal above his bed and I gently push him through, using my levitation skills to cover him with blankets, I close the portal and everyone looks at me."what?? My leg was cramping" I say with a shrug, everyone started laughing and some of the guys fell on the floor, I roll my eyes and we start chatting again, but I end up drifting off on both Lachlan and my dad.
