A New Vamp (Chp. 10)

This really isn't my day. I continued sobbing at the sight. Liam had just beaten Eleanor up and Louis was strangling him. Eleanor's body was a mess. She had bruises everywhere and scars on her neck bleeding. No she wasn't bitten, but Liam certainly used his nails to form those. Louis' eyes were red and filled with tons of negative emotions. Hurt, anger, frustration, betrayal. I saw Janice start to wake up and she dashed to Eleanor body. "NOO!!!," I screamed desperately wishing I could push Janice out of the way. She somehow flew to the other side of the room and hit the wall. I guess that's a new power? I smirked menacingly. So this is my revenge. I used my mind to throw her across the room making her hitting objects and smashing into things when finally I made her crash into Liam. They fell to the ground unconsciously and the other boys came in holding a few dead wolves in their hands. Niall, Zayn, and Harry dropped the wolves as soon as they saw Eleanor.

Louis was the first to be next to her, cradling him in his arms. The rest of us rushed over to comfort him. Perrie came rushing in as well with medical supplies. She started to clean Eleanor's injuries while Louis continued to cradle her. He was sobbing his eyes out. Zayn cleared his throat to get our attention and our heads turned to him. He looked at Louis. "Louis, I know this is hard and please don't get mad at me for saying this, but you can always turn her." He stopped crying and froze. Slowly, Louis looked up to Zayn then started balling his eyes out again once he met his eyes. He looked at Eleanor and brushed the hair out of her face gently with his fingers. "I'm sorry Eleanor, " he mumbled then bit her neck. I could tell he was trying to bite her in the most tender way he could. Louis removed his mouth from Eleanor's and wiped his mouth.

All of us sat down and waited for her to wake up in an awkward silence. I hope she'll be alright. After about 5 min., Eleanor squeezed Louis' hand. Our faces grew smiles and we gave each other hopeful looks. She gave his hand another squeeze and furrowed her eyebrows. Soon her eyelids fluttered open along with her now longer eyelashes. Eleanor's appearances were changing. Her slight wrinkles were fading. Her cheek bones became more dominant. Her hair became more wavy and the color became more pure. Eleanor is truly beautiful as a human, but the change of being a vampire made her features bolder. She finally sat up on Louis' lap and gave him a peck on the lips. I have never seen such a boy give a smile so wide and full of pure happiness. A huge real smile. I gave a smile, too. I stood up to approach Eleanor when I stopped.

My smile faded when I felt a painful ache. Everyone turned to me with their eyes wide. I looked down to see a spear completely through one side of my hip. I slowly turned around with tears forming to see Liam with a devilish smirk. Standing behind him was Janice. Before I could do anything, I blacked out. Three hours later... "Keri, please. Be alive for me. I wasn't even able to treat you on a date yet," an Irish accent said in a nasal voice. He was...sobbing? Was Niall here? I-I thought I died. I mean, who wouldn't think they died after a spear had been hit through them? Niall shouldn't be looking after me. He should be looking for Liam and Janice. They've caused enough trouble. For me. For Louis. For Eleanor. For everyone. But I couldn't upset Niall either. I tried forcing my eyes open, but I couldn't. I felt Niall's hand take mine so I gave it a light squeeze.

I think he might have felt the squeeze because he soothingly said, "Come on Keri, you can do it. You can wake up." I tried smiling, but my mouth only twitched into a small grin. Niall kissed my forehead and continued holding my hand. He's being so sweet. I tried opening my eyes again, but they wouldn't budge. I tried moving my other hand and it moved a bit. With great effort, I reached over to my face and rubbed my eyes to see if it would help. It did a little bit because my eyelids started to twitch. After a min. or so, my eyes fluttered open and I smiled at Niall who was smiling wide. He engulfed me into a hug, "I'm so glad you're awake." "I am too." We chuckled then I abruptly stopped. He looked at me curiously. My eyebrows furrowed. "What happened after I blacked out?" Niall swallowed. "Harry and I...we k-killed Liam. Janice got away though." My eyes widened. "Y-you k-killed Liam?" I said shakily. He nodded. 

I believe Niall that he and Harry killed Liam, but why did he stutter? Is there something he doesn't want to tell? I let those thoughts slip aside. Sure, Liam is a jerk, but I didn't expect Niall and Harry to kill him. I sat up only to feel pain in my hip. I saw a large bandage covering it. I quickly laid back down. "How bad is my hip," I asked. "If you were human, you would have died. You're not a full vampire either so you'll have to stay here for a bit until the doctor says you've healed. You're doing well though." I nodded and began to stare at the ceiling. My eyes followed the door as the doctor came in or at least I think he is the doctor. The man came up to me. "Keri, I've seen you've woken up. You can leave once I give you this shot." He held up a needle. Oh god. I'm not a fan of needles. I nodded and shut my eyes tightly. I felt the needle and slightly winced. Once he removed the needle, I opened my eyes and sat up. There was no pain.

"What was in the needle?" "A special pain reducing serum for people of vampire blood only." "And half vampires?" He nodded. I got off the bed and vampire-sped to my room. The hospital was actually located inside the castle to my surprise. Even though I would probably be scolded, I wore something that was out of the 1800's to make myself comfortable. In my secret stash of clothing, I put on a pair of sweats, and a red long-sleeve crop top. I found these kept in a room. Clothing like these were being burnt in that room and disposed. Like I said before, we have to wear clothing from like the 1800's. I kept the most cutest, comfortable, and fashionable clothing from that room. I wanted to take all the female clothing, but I didn't want to be caught either. I fixed my hair into a tight ponytail then went to my bed and laid under the blankets. Niall ran into my room saying, "Getting comfortable, huh?" I nodded smiling at his presence.
