"Matteo?" I touched the person's shoulder and he turned around.

"Well look who has grown." He smiled at me.

"Are you just going to stand there? No hug?" I asked smiling at my long-time friend. He hugged me tight almost crushing my bones. I smelt him he smelt familiar, like Mia.

"I have missed you I came to visit a few years back but..." he trailed off letting me go.

"Yea we didn't have a choice they killed everybody." I sighed.

"Well not you, your Majesty." He smiled.

"They were no match for my blade skills." I smiled. "Oh I want you to meet someone." I pulled him over to Derick. "Matteo this is my mate Derick." I introduced them and Derick greeted him politely.

"Your Majesty." Matteo said respectfully.

"No, just Derick." He smiled.

"Majesty makes us sound like we have a stick up our ass." I smiled. "Plus look at what we are wearing." I looked down and the shorts and dress shirt.

"I see." He smiled. Mia made her entrance in her shorts and bustier. She paused and followed her nose and her eyes landed on Matteo. Bam! She walked to us slowly and I smiled. Mia is now mated, she stood by Matteo and blushed like crazy.

"This is my sister Mia." Derick introduced her he felt their tug too. Why were we feeling their bond?

"Hi." She said coyly.

"I thought you'd be jumping his bones." I said and she gasped. "Yes I know, I can speak and I have no filter." I said smiling.

"Dude that's so exciting." She squealed.

"Not as exciting as finding your mate." I said. Derick chuckled and she blushed again I have never seen her blush so much.

"Mia would you like to go somewhere and talk?" Matteo asked. Her mouth fell open and she just nodded and took his extended hand.

"How'd you know?" Derick asked.

"Know what?" I asked.

"That they were mates." He said.

"I smelt him and he smelt like her." I shrugged. "How'd you know?" I asked looking up at him.

"I smelt the pheromone." He smiled.

"What are we going to do?" I asked.

"Let them be."

"Not about Mia, about this gathering." I pointed to the hundreds of creatures present in our territory.

"Well they are used to sleeping where ever." He said. "The vampires however that's kind of hard." He sighed.

"Maybe some of the pack members won't mind having guest's in their homes." I said.

"I'll ask." He eyes glazed over as I watched the people I were to guide get along some finding their mates and some just enjoying the good new company. "The mermaids and sirens are down for the fin folks and the others said okay." He said.

"Okay that's settled." I said. The meet and great ended and everyone retire to the respected living quarters. We had a few person's in the rooms downstairs. We laid in bed my head on his chest. I had a question for him.

"Why does Mia have wings?" I asked.

"Or mother was an Angel our father was a Nogitsune. I am the first born so I got everything while Mia received some of the fox genes she got wings. I have wings too but I like to keep them at bay." He explained.

"That's cool, but I want to see your wings." I looked up at him.

"Why?" He asked.

"Because I want to." I said.

"Nope." He said. I got out of the bed and stood on the balcony near the railing.

"Oh my word imagine me falling from such a height I'd probably die." Not likely but anything to provoke him. I edged closer to the railing and he stood by the doorway. I sat on the railing and tilted back. "You'd be left mateless." I tilted back further.

"You wouldn't dare." He warned and I smirked.

"I wouldn't." I let go and began falling from the height the fall whipping my hair forward. Should have thought this through. But before my head crushed against the pavement Derick's hands covered me. He was flying I have never flown and I felt great, we landed in the field but he wasn't as mused as I was.

"That wasn't funny." His face stern.

"It wasn't supposed to be." I looked at his wings they were big and black. They were beautiful and I touched them. "Why don't you fly?" I asked.

"Hate heights." He told me.

"That's just awful." I plucked a feather from one of them.

"I felt that." He said.

"That's why there is a wing tattoo on your back." I said absentmindedly.

"Yep." He said then drew them back in. "I think we should get you trained for your upcoming fight." He said.

"First thing tomorrow." I said.

"Remember the first night you came?" he asked.

"Yep I tried to run away." I sighed laying down on the ground. "Those were the good old days." I smiled.

"Had my heart in a whirlwind." He sighed.

"I'm sorry." I wrapped my hand around him.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" he said.

"I have to it's our destiny." I looked up at him.

"I'm down for whatever." He said and I kissed him.

"How about you fly us back to the room and we begin a little training tonight." I whispered in his ear and he chuckled. He did fly us up to the room and we tore it down all night long until I was too tired to even move.
