"Oh god I'm tired." I whined. "Derick I can't take anymore I might die." I said closing my eyes. He was punishing me for the day and it was great but I was hungry thirsty and beyond tired. My bits ached my back felt like I had dislocated something, my womanhood throbbed from all the waves of pleasures it had been feeling for the last five hours.

From the kitchen counter, to the dining room table, his office door, his desk, the library shelves, carpet, door, then our room floor, the shower wall, the tub floor, our bedroom walls and the bed. I was beat I just needed to sleep and regain my strength.

"Maybe the next two weeks." I mumbled in the covers. When he asked if I was ready again? How come's he isn't tired? "Why aren't you tired?" I asked.

"I don't know." He shrugged.

"I need food." I mumbled.

"I'll go make you a sandwich." He said leaving the room and I laid there too tried to move until he came back. My back started stinging as he came in and I put my hand on it to run the pain away, but it was slippery.

"What's on my back?" I looked at him. He pulled down the covers and began reading.

"A few days from now things will change and your love will grow stronger. You shall take back what was stolen all those centuries and you both shall rise like Phoenixes and bring this age into the Era of righteousness. Love will overcome all and your reign as husband and wife, mother and father, King and Queen and Mates will gain you the loyalty of your subjects." He finished.

"I'll need to have a few words with these people to stop marking me up." I sat up.

"It's gone." He looked at my back once more.

"Don't you think it's a bit much all the things that we'll have to do after the war? Are we ready for this? We just found each other and I'm just beginning to fall in love I don't want to lose you." I looked up at him desperation in my voice.

"We'll be okay and we won't die if we do we'll rise again like Phoenixes. I love you too." He said and gave me the sandwich. My heart felt tight and his love declaration.

"You do?" I asked sweetly.

"From we first met." He kissed my forehead.

"Dammit and I tried to run away." I cursed.

"It's okay." he whispered. "It's because you cared and didn't want blood on your hands." He brushed a lock of hair away. I ate the sandwich slowly thinking about all he said and the warnings of the elders. "Don't over think this tomorrow is a new day." He said after I finished the sandwich we cuddled and fell asleep.

The sun peeped through the window and I stretched my legs Derick's hand was still draped over my bare stomach. I tilted my head and looked at him he looked so peaceful. I brushed away a few hairs that were on his forehead and he smiled catching my wayward hand.

"Good morning." I said.

"Up and ready I see." He smirked. I sat up in the bed. "You like playing dirty." He said. I covered myself and a faint blush appeared on my cheeks.

"I'm not ready for anything. Probably next week." I teased him.

"Next week. I don't think I can manage that long with you walking around in my shirts." He eased up on his elbows.

"What did you do before I came?" I asked.

"Well I wasn't always this innocent I had my fair share..." he trailed off when he saw my jaws clenched. "I'm joking." He lied.

"What's their names and where do they live?" I asked giving my best smile.

"What you going to do?" he asked.

"Oh nothing a little curse won't hurt them." I slid off the bed. "Did you sleep with them in this bed?" I asked.

"No." he said. "See your getting mad." He sighed.

"Me? Upset no." It felt like I was on fire.

"Really? Then why are you burning holes in the sheet?" he asked. I looked down he was right and I dropped them.

"So where do they live?' I asked.

"I won't tell you that." He got up and slid on his boxers his butt hard, he flexed his muscles and I tried to look away but I just couldn't. "You might kill them." He turned around and I tore my eyes away. God I loved looking at him.

"I won't. I just want to meet your past girlfriends." Burn holes in their heads and watch them die.

"They weren't girlfriends' just flings." He looked over at me.

"How much 'flings' did you have?" I asked.

"Don't ask questions you don't want to know the answer to." He said.

"I want to know." I said.

"Well I'm not telling you." He walked to the bathroom and closed the door and I stood their fuming. Why was I mad? It was in his past and they can't have him now because he's all mine. If they did try to make a move they'll just vanish. Poof!

He had been in there long time when he came out he had on jeans and a red t shirt. He walked over to me and hugged me and kissed my forehead.

"Are you still mad?" he asked.

"No." I sighed.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

"Yes I'm sure. It was in your past and I will let it stay in your past." I hugged him.

"That's my girl." He kissed my forehead again and let me go. "Remember you have training with Roy soon." His hand on the door. "And Polly, I love you." He closed the door.

"I love you too." I smiled. I did my hygienic duties and went to my training session with Roy. He had become more of a friend now and he wasn't smashing me on the floor anymore.

"Today we are going to deal with blades." He said. Mia had joined the session said she needed to get accustomed to all this fighting.

"Yay my favourite." I said.

"Here are your swords, now fight." He said and we stood there.

"What?" I asked him. "I thought you would at least teach her a little before you set me to kill her." I told him.

"Mia knows her blades." Roy smiled.

"Mia you've been holding out." I smiled at her and she gave me and innocent look.

"Alright blades at the ready. Now fight!" We circled each other like prey and began out fighting. Our fight was like a toxic dance where we tried to draw blood from each other. She almost had me pinned against the wall and I kicked her away, bringing her to the floor and my sword at her throat ready to cut. I eased up and helped her up.

"That was the best fight I have seen in years." My head spun around and Matteo and Derick stood there watching us.

"She's crazy good at this." Mia said drinking some water. "Where did you learn to fight so well?" she asked.

"A samurai." I sat on the bench and spun the cap from the bottle.

"Well we need him here." Roy said.

"Well you'll have to find him in Valhalla then." I said taking up my sword. "Mia want to go again?" I asked her.

"Uhm...why not?" she shrugged and we were at it again.
