SUPERIMPOSE
i. Open your phonto app and upload a blank white image. Type out your text like I had done below. (boywonders will get it *wink wink*)
ii. After you do this, save and open it as both the foreground and the background image in Superimpose. Go to the mask tab and select the polygon tool. Use this to create a slanted pattern like I did below and then double click. Shift the image (make sure you're on the transform tab at the bottom) to where you get the broken effect. Merge.
iii. Upload a plain black image as the foreground and tilt it to where it matches up with your slant. Use the rectangle crop to make a small line. Don't merge yet.
iv. Use the gradient tool under the mask tab to make the edges of the line fade out. Do this on both sides of the line and then merge and save.
v. To put this on your cover, just upload your cover image as the background and (if you want your text to be black) just put it on multiply under the transform tab and then place.
vi. If you want your title to be a different color, use the color scale tab under the mask tab to erase the white. Then, turn the contrast all of the way down under the filter tab and then adjust the colors however you want them. Merge and save.
