I woke up because I heard Nina and Amber get up and leave the room. I had put Chisisi in my bed and slept on the floor because I, for whatever reason, felt more comfortable there. I sat up after they left and went to Joy's room, making sure not to be seen by Patricia, who was leaving at the same time.
"Joy. Joy!" I said softly, waking her up, but not waking up Mara. "What?" She asked, turning over to look at me. "Something's going on and I want to find out what." I said. She nodded and got up, making sure not to wake up Mara. We made sure not to be seen by the others. Mara then walked behind us. "What's going on?" Mara asked quietly. "Don't know. Going to find out." Joy said. I was listening upstairs, making sure that it wasn't anything bad before we went up. "Guys, they're in here." Joy said to the rest of us, having gone upstairs first.
"Nice hangout guys." Mick and I said. I blushed a little. "I can't believe you're having an Anubis mid-night reunion and you didn't invite us!" Joy said. "Surprise!" Patricia said. I suddenly became very suspicious. At this point, my knee didn't hurt as much, but I was told by the nurse that I have to wear a brace. "Eeeey!" Nina, Fabian, Amber, and Alfie said. I only became more and more suspicious.
"We wanted to welcome you back properly." Patricia said. I looked at her, extremely confused. "Up here?" Joy asked. "Yeah." Nina replied. "While we're asleep?" Joy and I asked simultaneously. "W-Well YEAH Are you surprised or what?" Nina said. I then gave Nina a suspicious look. "Uhh... I'll just grab another sheet." Amber said, getting up. She walked over to the sheet over something against the wall.
She lifts the sheet to find a realistic replica of Anubis House. "Wow!" Amber said, looking at it. "Woah." I said, unsure of how to feel about it. Amber tries to lift it and move it, but she drops it on Alfie's foot. "OW! OH OH OH MY TOE OH!" Alfie exclaims. "Baby." I mutter under my breath. "You know, I think we'll get along just fine." Patricia said, giving me a high five. "Sorry! It was heavy!" Amber said. "Shush you two!" Patricia said. Fabian walks over and puts his hand on the dollhouse.
"I always wanted a doll house." Amber said. "Even one that's a replica of creepy old Anubis House?" Fabian asked. "It doesn't seem to be that bad. I think it's kinda cool." I whispered. "Where dollies go to die." Alfie said in a creepy voice. Everyone laughed, including myself. I think I'm gonna love it here. "Whoever is up there... Come down immediately!" Victor shouted. Alfie and Amber move the dollhouse and I help Mara clean up the food. "Did you hear what I just said?" he shouted.
The apple I was holding in my hand fell to the floor. I started shaking right where I was. I am having a panic attack because that's what my father would say when he needed me to do something and I didn't do it right away. "Are you okay?" Mara asked. "Violet?" Fabian asked, kneeling beside me. Patricia, Mara, Amber, Alfie, Mick, Joy, and Jerome were already downstairs. Nina was looking for a place to hide the cup she was holding. I didn't know what one it was, but I recognized it. Nina finally found a place to put it and she hid it. She then came over to me.
"Violet, are you okay?" she asked. I just kept shaking, even when Victor came up. "Mr. Rutter, Ms. Martin... You two are in so much..." he trailed off, noticing I was there too, in the middle of a panic attack. "Mr. Rutter, go fetch a glass of water. Ms. Martin, get anything that you think might help calm her down." Victor said. "NOW!" he shouted, making it worse. They ran down the stairs to get the things he asked for. He then gets down on his knees next to me and takes my hands.
"Look at me." he said softly. I looked at him, still fully shaking. "It's okay. They're not here. You're safe. Chisisi is safe. I won't let them get to you or your sister. I just need you to come back, okay? Please, come back to me." he continued softly. I started to calm down. "That's it. Take it easy." he said, continuing to say soothing things to me. I looked at him, having nearly completely calmed down.
I then proceeded to throw my arms around his neck in a hug, burying my face in his shoulder. He puts his around my waist, holding me as if I was going to disappear if he let go. Granted, I was doing the same with him.
Fabian came back up with the water and Nina came up with a giant stuffed wolf, by which point Victor and I had released each other. She gave it to me and Fabian gave Victor the glass of water, who set it down beside us.
"How'd you know to get the stuffed wolf of all things?" Victor asked. "I told her to. I remembered it was her most prized possession given to her by our grandfather before he disappeared. He loved wolves as much as she does and he loved Egypt as much as our parents, but he still made time for us." Chisisi said, walking over and kneeling next to me. "She was always closer to grandfather than I was." she continued.

Violet had calmed down so much at this point that she fell asleep, the panic attack having taken a lot of her energy. Victor sent Chisisi, Nina, and Fabian downstairs before taking the sleeping girl in his arms and bringing her down, setting her down in her bed, having brought an extra one for Chisisi a few hours before. He laid her down on the bed before putting her wolf blanket over her and her stuffed wolf beside her. He moved her hair out of her face and looked at her for a minute before leaving the room, shutting the door before going back to his office to finish up last minute paperwork.
