"Granny where have you been?"I said as I walked into the garden
"Son I was strolling in the garden"
"Greetings my prince"Catherine said bowing her head in respect
"Afternoon"i replied to her greetings,"granny I was worried sick and who is she"
"She is Catherine ,a very nice lady she accidentally bumped her bicycle into me luckily she didn't hurt me"
I moved closer to granny holding her "granny you need rest you just arrived today and always ensure to always go out with the guards"
"Yes son"she nodded
"Catherine you may leave now"I instructed
"No she is going no where,she has to take Care of me me for five days"
"But granny,we are here to take care of you,and we have hundreds of maids to take care of you not an outsider"
"I know son,she has to pay so that next time she won't drive recklessly and hit anyone"
"Okay granny if you say so but I have to introduce you to my lover"
Catherine gasped and her purse fell on the grass,she quickly picked it up "I'm sorry"
"She is here already?"granny asked
"Yes granny,come in we shouldn't keep her waiting"
"Oh yes yes,ermm catherine my dear"
"Yes queen cassie"
"You will begin work tomorrow,do not keep me waiting"
"Okay granny,bye "She says as she quickly leaves the palace
I jumped up "oh my good Lord,granny you are a geinius ,i love you granny"I gave her a hug and pecked her on her forehead
"Trust me son,just five days Catherine will confess her love to you"
"Yes granny and when she does nothing will stop me from getting married to her"
"Yes son,its good Nina informed me about your undying love for Catherine but I must say she is beautiful and she has a good heart"
"Yes granny she does,okay let's go and have lunch"
"Yes yes I need it right now"
I and granny got to the dinning table,everyone was having lunch already "sorry we are late"I apologized
'Its okay son,have your meal"
"Mother you had me worried"king ronin said
"You were worried and you were still eating"granny repleid
Everyone laughed
"Well i will be having a guest tomorrow,you will be seeingher at the palace for five days"
"Queen cassie ,hope all is well?"princess natalie asked
"Yes dear,after the meal I will tell you all what happened its not that
"Mother jidenna has decided to grow up"queen Isabella said
"Really?what's the matter?"granny asked
"Well he is going to introduce his bride to us later in the day"
"Well thats great news"granny said with a smile
CATHERINE POV
I sat on the bench weeping outside my shop convering my face with my Palm
"Catherine why are you crying?"Fiona asked placing her hands on my shoulder
I shook my head still with my palms covered with my palms "nothing"
"How can you say nothing when you are in tears"
I rose up head hugging Fiona "he has completely forgotten about me"
"Who?"
"Prince jidenna has left me for good,he dosent even want to look at me anymore"
"Shhhh,don't cry Catherine"
I sat properly wiping the tears off my face "he has even found a new lover"
"Really oh my God I can't wait to see her"
"Fiona"I yelled "you aren't helping matters"
"I'm sorry Catherine,but I do not understand "
"Understand what?"
"You said you have no feelings for the Prince,then why are you weeping when you heard he has gotten a new lover?"
I stood up "no,well...actually I was not weeping for him,i was weeping because I almost hit the old lady with my bicycle"
"You are not good at lying,you know right?"
I hugged her again"why did I have to go to the palace today?"
"Its okay Catherine,everything is going to be alright"
LADY MORGANNAPOV
"I miss grandpa "I said with little droplets of tears rolling down my cheek
"I know dear,please cheer up "Mother said patting me at the back
"Why did he have to die now?"
"Listen,everything happens for a reason, all we need to do is to pray for his soul to rest in peace"
I nodded my head"okay mom"
"Thats my girl,you should have dinner else your dad will be upset"
"Yes mother"
"The Costume designer will be here tomorrow,so that you will choose your wedding dress"
"Yes that's awesome mother,i seriously can't wait to get married to lukas"
"I can't also wait for the wedding"
"And how is my princess doing"father said as he walked in
"Greetings father"I said giving him a hug
"How are you dear?"
"All good,all good,how was the meeting?was the case settled!"
"Yes it was a minor conflict but it was settled"
"Okay i will leave you both alone,i need rest"queen Ariana said leaving
"Father my wedding is around the corner"
"Yes my lady,i can't wait"
"I'm so excited"
