So I derped around on etsy and found myself searching up things from the "Vikings" Fandom, a TV show that has grown quite popular.

Anyway. I found someone making pendants of different shields and I found Ragnar's. Now Ragnar is also a character in the book I'm reading. "The Last Kingdom." Which the book is now apparently so damn popular they made a fucking television series on BBC and I NEED TO WATCH IT!!!! Hopefully it won't be as heartbreaking as every other show on BCC like certain shows I watch..... *glares at Sherlock and Doctor Who* but no promises

Anyway since I was bored, I looked up if  Ragnar was actually a really person from the Viking age. And actually, he was! Including almost all of the other characters from the book as well. Which I thought was pretty cool, I'm going to start researching them.

After that I looked up the Character Uhtred and sadly... although he did exist, nothing happened to him in the book as it did in history.

Unlike a English boy adopted by Danes after his fathers death and turned into a man who fought and was treated like Ragnars son... Turns out the actual Uhtred was actually just some important guy who married a priests daughter, had kids and kinda fought but was more like. "Hey I follow a guy who has no idea how to help us." And then something happened and suddenly the two weren't married anymore so he married the English kings daughter. But then *le gasp* he gets murdered by some guy who no one knows who he was. His name was Thurbrand.

Anyway since his son, Ealdred was so angry that his dad was dead, he killed Thurbrand but then was killed by Thurbrand's son, Carl. Carl isn't a very intimidating name but whatever. Anyway in the 1070's Ealdred's grandson, Waltheof, takes his soldiers and kills most of Carl's grandsons. So yeah... kinda sounds like a sucky game of 'capture the flag' to me... but instead of flags, the other team is trying to see how many more members of the opposing family they can kill.

So yeah. Kinda sucks that Uhtred wasn't as cool as he was in The Saxon Stories series by Bernard Cornwell. The Last Kingdom is my favourite book in the series. But hey, there's a huge taste of history with the Vikings in the book so I ain't complaining. They definitely have a lot of great lessons in the stories too.

Later, at 1am. My mom asked my to read her cards again. Same damn question about a guy she likes. Don't get my wrong, I love reading Tarot cards, it was all I asked for on my birthday last April. But when it's the same question about the same guy. It gets annoying. Yeah the guy likes her back, the cards don't have to tell me, I know. But no matter how many times I tell her that. She still gets angry when I don't read her cards for the same question. I'm happy I can't read Tea Leaves or Rune stones yet. I have the same ability as my grandma used to have. As great as it is, I get annoyed sometimes. But I love my ability either way.

Around 1:30 I watched "Real Vikings" with my brother, which was about my ancestors. In case you didn't know. I really love history. Early medieval history being my favourite.

The writer from the TV show "Vikings" was interviewed. The actor from Vikings who played Rollo, (who was an actual person in the Viking ages) was brought on the show. They also talked a lot about Ragnar and the art of ship building in the 8th century.

Fun Fact: A lot Vikings were women.

In the 1950's Danish archeologists found a few ships from the Viking age and now they are able to make ships made exactly like the Viking long boats using the same materials.

After finishing the first episode, which was an hour. I found out Rollo is actually my cousin or ancestor since his great-great-great-grandson is William the Conquerer, who was the "first king of England" and is my cousin on my fathers side. He's a closer cousin than some of my cousins that I've met actually... coolio!

They also went to a place in Sweden where a Viking fortress used to stand. They found a cemetery that was for the people who once live there. In the cemetery the found a women of high status in life. They found white makeup made of led and henbane which is a toxic plant and a drug. They also found things that lead the archeologists to believe she was a witch.

After binge watching the show until I fell asleep, I woke up around 9:30 and watched more. Cause why the fudge not?

I had a shower, watched TV and had a workout. My ab lines are getting deeper but other than that not much of a change. My mom said there is a change though. I don't really know.

After that I relaxed and had some green tea. (Which tastes like grass.)

I did some more family history research and it's quite cool. I'm thinking of drawing a few of my family members and me.

We went to Dairy Queen, after that I laid down and talked to my mom. We watched "Treasures Decoded" which is another history show because I'm obsessed. We watched the episode about Easter Island. It was really cool!

Since I need to workout more and I need to lose a bit of weight. I have made a plan of my days up until January. It's going to be hard to follow. Like getting up at 7am.... but i have it planned out!

So this might work, I hope so since I've never really been fit in my life, I should probably start to get more active, it's been a bitch trying to because of how many injuries I've had lately. I've become stronger. I can do push-ups now! Yes!!!

For those of you confused about the "start eating at 4pm" it's intermitted fasting. I've tried it before and it works for me to control the urge to eat the entire fridge. 😅

Anyway I found out there's a micronation in Australia that is called "The Coral Sea Islands" and it's flag is the gay pride flag and their entire population is gay rights activists. Anyone wanna move there with me?

I watched TV with my brother before I decided to go to bed. Night.
