Chapter Thirty Nine

Rashad

"Cool I'll call you later sis yeah, make sure you check your account I put some money in there for you"

"Thanks Shad , love you."

"Love you more, Inabit"

She closes the front door and I begin to walk out the estate. Right now, I was in the process of moving her, my nephews and my niece somewhere better than this place, so I had to be on my grind, ten times more than usual.

In the day, I did the usually that got me money,I kept myself really busy- but it was still on my mind. What if the baby wasn't mine?
I longed for another youte man, and with Naomi, that would be a blessing but, if it was Denzel's things wouldn't be all merry. I needed to chat to him, I needed to let him know wagwan, that even if the baby is biologically his it still wouldn't effect anything, I'd still be its father.

"So what you saying, I grab him from the back, you get him from the front-"
"Nah Mayhem" I chuckle as I lean back in my car " it's not a ten toes thing. The reason why I called you to come is so I wouldn't do nothing ments and get bagged. That's not to say he can't get slap to his face"
"One bang though, he deserves it. Imagine, that used to be your codieeeee then he slept with you girl, nah fam. You may not be pissed but I am"
" I know bredda I know. I'm just gonna break down levels init. Let him know that if the baby is his, that doesn't mean he's entitled to shit!"

"I'm a popular guy within your couple uno"
"Stop chatting bull, does it look like I'm playing with you?"
"Naomi saw me yesterday,  and you now?"
"So you know then?" I didn't react to him saying how he saw Nay, not so he could think to bothered me.
"What, that the baby is mine?"
"That ain't for sure!" I bang the table
"Calm down bredda" I hear Mayhems voice
"What did you do when you saw Naomi?"
"What's between me and my baby mum stays between me and my baby mum ghee"
"Your pushing you luck son. Listen, I've come here to tell you to back off init. Forget whatever Naomi told you, fuck that biological shit: that's my baby in her stomach"
"Nah, nah sorry- I'm not going to abandon my youte all because you said"

"What you are gonna do my man is Shutup!" Mayhem brings out his gun, it kind of caught me off guard too. "I don't want to have to make another trip here because your doing the most. You took advantage of his Mrs and you might of got her pregnant but that don't mean anything, I haven't used this for a long time, but I will, trust me I will."
"Whatever init."
"Let's go." Says Mayhem "dumb guy, tun fool ova gyal"
"Gyal that ain't even his" I chuckle, as we begin to walk off I turn back " I'm serious you know, you aren't part of Naomi's life and you will never be apart of that baby's life either"

Naomi

"Everyday though Rashai like come on." I kiss my teeth as he gets into the passenger seat.
"The teacher was pissing me off though, she was asking for it."
"No Rashai, dont talk to me, under no circumstances will I condone you pushing past a teacher. Now they will only allow u there to do your GCSE's, how you gonna learn exactly ?"
"Sorry Naomi man."
"No"
The rest of the drive was in silence, until I heard his belly rumbling and I couldn't ignore that, so I drove into KFC drive through. "KFC drive through can I take your order please"
"Go on then" I look at Rashai
"Me?"
"Nah who else am I talking to, Mackenzie?"
"Can I have a big daddy meal"
"One big Daddy meal, what drink, what side? Corn on the cob,baked beans or coleslaw"
"Pepsi, and corn on the cob"
"Can you make that twice please" I say
"Ok"
I drive through to the next stage, type my pin in and we get our food. We were sitting in the car park for a good ten minutes eating it, In silence. Mackenzie awoke and started to cry, I didn't have his bottle so I gave him the chicken leg and he nibbled  aon it. "He's just sucking on the sid now" Rashai laughs
"His last teeth are coming in. Can you believe my man is gonna be one. Crazyyy"
"The way he moves you would think he was two, about he's telling me no all the time"
