Chapter 16

Michael's pov

"Michael please don't leave me" Melody says and I start walking to the bus but someone grabs my arm and I turn and come face to face with Ricky.

"What do you want?" I ask pulling my arm away from him.

"Michael I'm sorry" He says and I roll my eyes.

"Sorry not gonna happen Olson" I say and I start to walk away but he grabs me again.

"Please" He says and I break away.

"Ricky I'm not doing this right now" I say going to walk away but once again he grabs me and Melody pulls him off me.

"Leave her alone" She says and I stand there amused.

"Or what" He says and she kick him in the nuts and I start laughing.

"Oh my god Melody I love you" I say and bend down to her height but Ricky pulls me up.

"You think that was funny?" He says and I smirk.

"Actually yes I do" I say and he punches me in the jaw and I fall to the ground.

"Is it still funny?" He asks and I back away and he gets on me and hits me again and again and again until I spit out blood.

"MICHAEL" Melody screams and comes to my side and Ricky gets off me and I can tell he left and my eyes start to close.

"Michael please don't leave me was the last thing I heard before I went unconscious.

Melody's pov

I run back inside and on the stage and tug on Kellin and the song stops.

"M-Michael R-Ricky b-beat her" I stutter and he grabs my hand and we run outside and she's still laying on the ground.

"Michael open your eyes" He says and by now there is a crowd forming and they all gasp and I put my head on her stomach and cry.

"Please wake up" I cry but she doesn't move.

"We need to get her to a hospital" Kellin says and he picks her up.

"Can I go with you?" I cry out and he nods but Megan stops me.

"Be careful I'll meet you there" She says and I nod and we go on the bus and leave.

When we get into the hospital they take her back.

The guys from motionless in white show up and Ricky walks in with his head down.

I walk up to him and start hitting him.

"YOU BEAT HER" I yell earning stares from everyone and he looks up and the guys look at him.

"You're the one that beat her?" Chris asks.

Ricky just stands there.

"YOU MOTHER-" He says hitting him.

"Family of Michael Grey" A nurse says and me and Kellin run to the nurse.

"Are you guys family? She asks and we nod.

"Relationship?" She asks.

"Umm I'm her boyfriend and this is my niece" He says and she nods and we follow her.

When we get into the room she practically looks dead and I start crying and i run to her and hug her.

"Fuck" I heard he grunt and she looks down at me and smiles.

"Hows my girl?" She asks cupping my chin with her hand.

"I should be asking you that" I say.

"Well I'm fine" she says scooting over and pats the spot next to her.

She starts humming and I hold onto her and I feel myself fall asleep.

Kellin's pov

"How you feeling" I ask and she shrugs.

"Could be better considering I'm laying in a hospital bed" She says and giggles and I sit in the chair next to her.

"She is so attached to you" I say and she nods.

"Yeah" She says and she looks at me.

"I wanna have my own kids one day but part of me knows that will never happen" She says and looks down at Melody.

"You never know Michael maybe your wish will come true one day" I say and she nods.

"Just gotta find that one person to settle down with" She whispers but I couldn't help but kiss her. To my surprise she kisses back.

Someone clears their throat and we look to see Chris and Michael looks down and blushes.

"You guys are to cute" He says and takes a seat next to me.

"This little girl has been attached to you for the past 2 days" He says and she nods.

"Yeah" she says holding Melody closer.

Her sister comes barging in the room.

"I'm sorry if she was a pain" She says.

"No Megan she's fine she's actually sleeping" Michael says and we all just sit here.

"Umm Rick wants to come see you" Chris says to her and she shakes her head.

"Fuck no" She says but to late Ricky was in the room and I could see her starting to shake and I hold her hand.

"Ricky you need to leave" I say and she grips my hand tighter and Melody starts crying.

Michael let's go of my hand and holds Melody close to her.

"Why are you crying sweetie" She asks her.

"Because he beat you and he's here" She says and I sit on the other side of them.

"Rick just leave" Chris says and Ricky just steps closer and she start breathing  heavy.

"Dude just leave" I say wrapping an arm around the both of them.

Nurses come running in and Michael points to Ricky and they drag him out and once he's out they both relax.

"Umm can I talk to Michael alone?" Melody's sister asks.

"Sure." We say and I pick up melody and bring her out of the room.
