Chapter 17

Michael's pov

"Whats up" I ask and she sighs

"Can you adopt melody?" She asks and I just look at her.

"Excuse me?" I say

"I just got accepted to college and its in another state" She says and I sigh.

"Its really up to Kellin I mean I'm on tour with him I can't just take her" I say.

"Send him in and I'll talk to him." I say and she nods walking out and he comes in.

"You wanted to talk?"  he says and I nod.

"Megan wants me to adopt Melody because she can't take care of her anymore because she got accepted to college and its in another state" I say.

"I mean if you want to adopt her its fine with me" He says and I nod and smile.

"Can you go get Megan?" I ask and he nods and walks out and Megan comes in.

"He said yes." I say and she nods bringing in Melody.

"Listen Melody. Michael is going to adopt you because I can't take care of you anymore" She says to Melody and Melody runs to me.

"Can I call you mom?" She asks.

"Sure" I say and she holds onto me tighter.

'Thank you' Megan says and walks out and everyone comes back in.

"Am I eventually gonna have a brother or sister?" She asks.

"Maybe one day" I say and a doctor comes in.

"You're good to go home" She says and I jump up and she hands me my clothes and I go in the bathroom and change.

After I change I come out and Chris drapes his arm over my shoulder.

"Hope you feel better" He says and I nod and walks away and I grab Melody's hand and we leave.

We get on the bus and I show Melody to my bunk and she hops in.

"Go to sleep and I'll take you for clothes tomorrow" I say and she nods going to sleep and I go by Kellin.

"I can't believe he did that to you" He says.

"Its whatever there's nothing we can do about it now" I say and he wraps an arm around me.

"I just hate that he hurt you" He says and I put my head on his shoulder.

"Again its whatever" i sigh and close my eyes.

"Tired?" He asks and I nod.

"Go to bed" He says.

"Melody is in my bunk" I say.

"Then you can sleep in mine" He says.

"Come with me" I say and he nods and we go lay down and he wraps an arm around me.

Soon I fall asleep.
