A/N: I'm definitely changing some things throughout the whole story line. I'm going to go through a few chapters kind of slow just so you can see relationship developments a little. Then I'm going to jump around a little and eventually get back to "present day" with Negan!

We walked into a cell block to be greeted by an old man on crutches and a young blonde girl who couldn't be more than a few years older than me.

"T-Dog and Carol haven't come back yet," the old man said making his way over to us. "Hi, I'm Hershel," he said sticking his arm out.

"Lilly Dalton," I smiled, shaking his hand. "I'm Rick's niece."

He looked between Uncle Rick and I and then he glanced down at the baby who began to cry.

"I'd love to chat, but right now I need to have a look at the baby." Carl went and layed her on the table on the middle of the cell block. "Well, she's healthy," Hershel began, "but she won't live long without formula."

"Glenn and I could go look for some," Maggie suggested.

"Okay. That'd be a great idea," Hershel replied.

"When my dad and I were out, we saw a convenience store not too far from here I believe. If I saw a map and knew where we were now, I think I could find it," I said. Everyone gathered around the table as Uncle Rick brought a map over and spread it out.

"We're here," he said pointing to a spot on the map.

I looked at the map for a moment before finding the road that the store was on. "It was right around here," I said, pointing to a road that was a fair distance away.

"That's nearly a full day trip. If we go now, we should make it back by mid-morning," Glenn said.

"I'm going to look for Carol and T-Dog," Daryl said as he picked up his cross bow.

"I'm coming with you," I said to Daryl as I looked away from the map. "I want to help."

"Like hell you are. I don't need help," he said, glaring at me.

"Daryl, you could use some help. The prison is large. You'll cover it quicker with her," Uncle Rick said.

"Fine," Daryl huffed. "Come on," he said walking away. I grabbed my bow and arrows and headed after him.

I was stopped by Uncle Rick. "Be careful. We still haven't cleared out all of the prison," he said hugging me. I nodded and hurried after Daryl.

"I'm going to go this way. You go that way," he said pointing down one of the halls. "And uhh be careful. Shout if you see anyone," he said looking over his shoulder at me.

"You too," I said, giving a small smile.

I had been walking around for only a few minutes, checking inside rooms that weren't locked, and I was pretty sure I was lost. I turned a corner to see three walkers over what was probably a body, eating. One of them looked towards me and began to shuffle towards me. I pulled out an arrow and shot it through one of its eyes. The other two looked at me and I quickly took them out. I retrieved my arrows and then heard a faint noise. I whirled around thinking more were behind me. I saw nothing and turned back towards the mangled body in front of me. As I looked at the body, I heard the noise again. I turned to see a door that I hadn't noticed before. I crept over to the door, bow raised. I flung the door open expecting a walker. Instead, I found a woman crumpled in the corner of the broom closet.

"Carol?" I asked, lowering my bow. She slowly nodded, her face looking as though she has been crying for some time. "Daryl!" I yelled. "I found Carol!"
