Well, we tried to negotiate with Gregory. It didn't work out well, especially when Maggie punched him. In her defense, he did steal the pocket watch that Hershel that had given to Glenn that was put on his grave. The Saviors came as well that day, Gregory wanting to tell them about us of course. My brother, being as smart as he is, hid us in a different spot than Gregory had intended. Needless to say, Gregory was furious with my brother. Paul then ended up escaping into the back of one of the trucks. I didn't know he was doing it until I saw him from his room. I wanted to run after him, but I know that would have caused unwanted attention, and more that likely we both would've been killed.

Enid showed up unexpectedly shortly after, which was weird because I found it extremely dangerous for her to travel on her own. Nonetheless, I embraced her and asked how everyone was doing. She then told Maggie, Sasha and I about everything that was going on with Negan and the Saviors and how they didn't have many supplies left back in Alexandria and that Uncle Rick and Aaron had gone on a run to gather supplies. After talking for a bit, I went to help around to keep my mind off of Paul. Some time later in the day, Sasha told me that I should be done because I was going to either pass out or injure myself because I was so tired. Reluctantly, I listened. I grabbed my water, draining the rest of the bottle before heading to the room. I had brought the rest of stuff to his room today when I saw him leaving actually. I grabbed the other set of clothes that I had gotten from here, a grey v-neck and black ripped jeans, my undergarments, and headed to the bathroom. I showered for longer than I should've, spending some of the time with my knees to my chest under the hot water, crying. I couldn't stop thinking about my brother. Finally, I decided to get out. I got dressed and brushed my hair. Since it was rather warm out, I just let my hair air dry. I slipped my boots back on and made my way back outside.

I noticed a bike that hadn't been out here before. Was that one of the Saviors'?  "Hey sis," I heard a voice from behind me say.

"Paul!"I screamed. I turned around and ran to my brother, hugging him tightly. "I wasn't sure if you'd ever come back," I said, tears brimming my eyes. I heard the door behind us open, but I didn't even look. I was so happy that my brother was back.

"Lilly? I heard a voice that I hadn't heard in some time. I pulled away to see Daryl standing just a few feet away.

I put one of my hands to my mouth and began to cry. "Oh my gosh," I whispered," as tears continued to stream down my face. Daryl was on the verge of crying as well, although he tried to not show it. I quickly walked up to him and pulled him close. "I really thought you were dead," I hiccuped.

"I'm here now," he said soothingly. He rested his chin on my head and we stayed this way until I calmed down.

We pulled away and I wiped the wetness off of my face. I studied him, taking in the bruises and scratches that covered his face. He had bags under his eyes, looking as though he hadn't slept in some time. I cupped one of my hands around his face, rubbing my thumb over his cheek. He flinched at my touch. I sometimes forget that Daryl, even though he has expressed his emotions to some of us,  is still a rather emotionless person, especially when it comes to physical contact.

"Who did this to you?" I asked.

"Doesn't matter," he said, pulling away.

"Well it does to me. I will kill whoever did this to you."

"You ain't gonna do nothin Lil. I'm not gonna let ya get hurt," Daryl narrowed his eyes.

"Daryl's right," Paul agreed, crossing his arms over his chest. "You can't just go out there alone."

"You did," I challenged.

"I did so we knew where the Saviors were," he responded.

"You must have a death wish if ya tryin t'go go out there alone," Daryl grumbled.
