Laylas POV
As soon as we pulled up in front of my new home I was in awe. It was cute, and seemed to have a nice yard. The best part yet, it was across the street from a park which of course had a soccer field. I hopped out of the car, grabbing one of my many bags from the back before running up to the door. I fished through my purse, finally finding my key and quickly unlocking the door. I gasped at the sight, the foyer was perfect. The wood chandelier was so cool. I continued walking till I got to the kitchen. It was big, Andreas going to freak when she sees it. The blue color made the white cabinets pop, and the dark wood made the light wood pop too. I continued exploring the house, finding the master bedroom and 2 guest rooms upstairs. One was green and had these cool mirror things above the bed. The other one was a beige color, but had pink, black, and zebra accents. I looked out of the curtains and saw that I had a small balcony that had a great view of the pool. It had a chair on there, and I decided that this would probably where my get away spot would be. I always need a getaway spot. At my other house it was a tree in the backyard; I would sit there for hours without anyone bothering me. I dropped my bag on the bed, claiming it to be mine. Calum can have the master bedroom. I went back downstairs and peeked into the living room, but quickly left when I saw that my family was sitting in there. I went across the hall and into the dining room. The color on the walls matched the kitchen, and there was a large doorway that you can open that leads to the kitchen. It had seating for 6, but there were extra chairs along the wall, and it looked as if the table could be expanded. I looked around one last time before going back to the hallway and opening the first door. It had stairs leading down, so I carefully crept down them, trying to make no noise. When I got to the bottom I saw another family room. This one had a lot more seating for guests. To my right there was also a bar with even more seating. We could throw a party down here. I went through the first door that was on the other side of the basement and saw another bedroom. This one was blue, with a blue duvet. It had a grey lounge seat at the end of the bed, and it looked really nice. I left the room, quietly shutting the door. I looked around the basement one last time, making sure I didn't forget anything before I snuck upstairs and decided to go and visit my family who were still sitting in the living room.
"Hey guys." I greeted when I walked in.
"I take it you've already explored?" My mother asked.
"Yes. It's very lovely. Thank you." I gave her a tight hug.
"Don't thank me. Calum and Cheryl did everything. I saw it for the first time after your football game today." She told me looking around.
"We set your bags all by the door since we didn't know which room you wanted them in. I'll just take everyone home and let you get to unpacking. Calum should be here soon with his things." She announced imprisoning for everyone to get up.
"Can Andrea stay and help me get unpacked. I'm sure her mom can pick her up later." I begged.
"Fine; But don't lock yourselves in your room and don't be unsocial to calum."
Andrea chuckled, "I'm promise Mrs. Moore. We will be social and help Calum when he comes." My mom just shook her head, leading
everyone else out the door. I shut the door behind them before turning to Andrea. Both of us having the 'where do we start' look on our faces. I sighed looking at my many boxes. I picked one up and started towards the stairs. I went to my room and made sure it wasn't going to trip me before setting it down. Andrea followed suit and set hers next to me.
"I like your room." She commented.
"Thanks." I smiled. "I'll go get the boxes, can you start organizing everything and putting it into my closet and dressers?" I nicely asked. She nodded in response as I went down the stairs to retrieve another box.
******
As I lifted the last box, I was glad that I had played football for so long, or else I would've never been able to do this. I moved it to my room setting it amongst the others. Andrea was halfway done sorting and putting everything away. I flopped down on my bed, making sure to avoid Andreas pile. I close my eyes relaxing. The last 2 days have been absolutely crazy. I went from a single girl who lives at home with her mom and siblings, to an engaged girl who is living with her fiancée. Crazy. Monday I would've thought that Andrea and I would be having a movie night tonight, not unpacking. I look over at Andrea and see that she's almost finished putting my clothes away. How long was I day dreaming? She turns to m and gives me directions.
"Top drawer is your socks, the underwear and bras, then soffee shorts and random shirts. I organized your closet from most worn to least worn." She flops down next to me.
"UGH. I'm exhausted."
"Tell me about it." She mumbles back.
"You know what could be fun?"
"What?"
"Making food." She looked at me and laughed at my seriousness.
"I'm completely serious. All that going up and down the stairs has left me starved."
"Make your own food then."
"Please Andrea. My best friend. My maid of honor. The best person in the world." I begged.
"Fine, but do you even have any food in this house?"
"I have no idea. Let's go find out." I pulled her off the bed and dragged her downstairs and to the kitchen. I dropped my grasp on her wrist as I reached the pantry. She went in inspecting what we had.
"Is spaghetti okay?"
"Sure. We should probably make enough for calum and the boys too."
"We?" She asked giving me the 'really' look.
"Fine you, you should probably make enough for Calum and the boys too." I sighed.
"Good." She said stepping out of the pantry, her arms full with ingredients. "Now, where are the pots?"
"Not sure." I opened a few drawers finally finding some that would work. I handed them to her and she started boiling the water for the pasta.
She maneuvered around the kitchen gracefully, making dinner. She poured the whole box of pasta into the bowling pot of water, and dumped the whole container of sauce into another pot. 5 minutes later we were serving ourselves the delicious pasta. I piled it onto my plate, poured sauce over it, and sprinkled some parmesan cheese on it before I dug in. I ate every bit of it, savoring every bite. I made a mental note to have Andrea teach me how to cook better before I set my plate in the sink.
"What time is Calum supposed to be here?" Andrea questioned.
"I have no idea. He said he'd see me soon, so I would guess any minute. Want to go and watch TV. till they get here?" We went to the living
room, and turned on the TV flipping it straight to Disney Channel. Austin and Ally was on. It's funny how much this show can entertain us. We sat there intently watching it for an hour before I heard a laugh from behind me. I quickly turned my head and saw that Calum and the boys were behind us, watching the show.
