I awoke with a killer headache. It was the worst throbbing sensation all over my head and I felt disgusting.
Úghh’I moaned rolling over clutching my head in the process. My eyes fluttered open I became face to face with Bray.
‘Morning sunshine’ he said smirking, ‘how you feeling?’
Úghh’I moaned again in response ‘sssh’ I hushed his talking, it sounded so loud in my head and it was making my head throb double time.
‘C’mon you need some aspirin’ Bray instructed and jumped out of the bed in only some shorts showing off his perfectly toned torso. He reached down and grabbed each of my hands pulling me out of the bed and to a standing position. Once I was standing upright I followed him into the kitchen where he handed me a glass of water and two pills which I downed rather eagerly to get rid of this headache.
‘What happened last night’ I asked, I caught sight of my reflection in the microwave in the kitchen and noticed I was wearing Bray’s shirt which came down to my upper thigh. I gasped.
‘This is your shirt’ I said
‘Yes’ Bray said unaware of why I was so shocked
‘We didn’t.. uh ’
‘Oh no, no god no’ he jumped in and saved me from asking if I had slept with him last night. Last night would have been my first time and I really did want to wake up remembering it.
‘So why am I in your shirt?’ I asked sighing with relief
‘You don’t remember anything?’ he asked curious
‘No’ I sighed confused ‘Nothing after dinner’
‘Well I went back to the hotel to sort out some things and left you at the restaurant. Except when I returned you were at the bar and had almost finished four double strength drinks. That’s equivalent to 8 drinks! I carried you out of there and we slowly made our way back here. When we got back you were out cold in my arms so I put you in something more comfortable and straight to be.’
Í don’t remember any of this’ I said with a sigh and sat down on the couch with my head in my hands. ‘How can I not remember anything?’ I questioned shaking my head
‘Well for someone so young and small drinking so much wasn’t good for you, the alcohol will still be in your system and will probably affected you a bit worse than someone of legal age and normal size’’
‘Im normal’ I replied a little too quickly
‘You were definitely a sight to see last night’
At that comment my head bolted out of my hands and I made my way over standing in front of Bray.
‘Tell me what I did last night’ I questioned him
‘No’ he said looking down at me
‘Pleaseeeee’ I begged him but he just shook his head.
‘Ugh I’m going to take a shower’ I heaved a sigh and made my way the bathroom where I locked the door, stripped off and took a much needed rejuvenating shower. This whole lack of memory was really starting to bother me, I want to know what I had said or done. Please don’t let it be anything to bad! I had never got drunk before so I don’t know how I acted or what I would’ve said, I had nothing to go by.
I forced myself out of the shower and wrapped the towel around me which came to my mid-thigh. I looked around in the bathroom for my clothes until I realised I never brought them in with me. I came straight into the bathroom, shit!
I quietly slid the bathroom door open and turned around and quietly slid it shut again. When I turned back around I was face to face with Bray.
Áhhhhh’I screamed in shock, ‘You gave me a heart attack’ I yelled at him placing my hand over my heart. He just looked down at me and raised one eyebrow. That’s when I remembered I was only wearing a towel.
‘I forgot my clothes’ I hurried to explain myself while moving away from his intense gaze to my small bag of belongings. I grabbed the bag and moved swiftly back to the bathroom locking the door. I changed into some light denim skinny jeans, black knee length boots and a plain black shirt and pulled on a hot pink trench coat as it was winter here. I let my hair hang down in curls loosely, brushed my teeth, applied a small amount of makeup and I was ready to go. I unlocked the bathroom door to find Bray on the bed all dressed and ready for the day.
He looked up at me from his phone then simply stated ‘I like the towel better’ before continuing his texting sessions with someone. I pretended to ignore that comment and grabbed my own phone slipping it into my pocket.
‘C’mon, where going out’ Bray said getting to his feet
‘I really don’t think that’s the best idea with our situation’ I replied
‘C’mon live a little kid, you did last night’
‘Alright fine’ I followed him to the door but just as he was about to open it the door was kicked in from the other side and in walked none other than Blake and three of his guys.
