Oneshots Galore!

Nile x reader

It was the quarter finals and my idiot of a teammate broke his arm so he can't compete. As substitute, I had to go in his place, and face my nightmare: battling on tv.

"You'll do fine, Y/n. Just pretend we're practicing! It works every time!" Jasmine, my twin sister, assured me. Futile.

"Are you kidding me?! I can't do this! That's why I became substitute! So I WOULDN'T have to battle!"

"Team Triplets is up against team Wild Fang! This is sure to be a hardcore battle to the end, folks!" The announcer says through the mic as the platform begins to raise me to my death.

"Yuni Corlani on team Triplets is not able to compete in this battle so the team's substitute has been called in to battle. Please welcome Y/n L/n to the battlefield!"

The crowd goes wild when they hear my name and I direct my attention to the opposite team: team Wild Fang.

There's a boy with gravity defying, forest green hair, and a boy who looks like he belongs on the savannah. But the one that caught my eye was the other. His orange and black hair clashes with his green eyes and I hear the cue to get my bey set.

"Three!" Jasmine confidently yells.
"Two!" The other team says.
"One..." My timid voice is barely heard above the voices of the audience.
"LET IT RIP!" Everyone yells and all six beys launch.
"K, Forest-head over there seems to be the leader, so, Jake, you go take care of him while Sis and I take care of the-"
"LEONE!" The green bey knocked Jake out and his bey landed by his feet.
Jake looked at us," sorry guys, you're on your own."
I grit my teeth and turn back, fire blazing in my eyes. Carrot head's eyes blinked in shock at the murderous look in my eyes. I turn to Carleigh," time?"
"Yea, lets do it. NAMAKA!"
"PELE!"
"JOINT SPECIAL MOVE!" We shout and link our arms together, shoulders touching," OPPOSITES CHARGE!"
Out two beys spin around each other, fire from Pele and water from Namaka mixing together to create a lethal charge of destruction, heading straight for Savanna's bey.They knock him and swerve to attack Forest head. His bey comes out of nowhere and attacks Namaka.

Carleigh cries out as Namaka lands by her feet and I'm faced with the entire team of Wild Fang against me. They smirk, knowing victory was one bey away. Leone attacks and my bey stands its ground, defense tip in place. When Leone pulled back for another attack, Pele zipped off and to the rim of the stadium, now on a stamina tip.
"PELE! SPECIAL MOVE! FIERY SPEAR OF DESTRUCTION!" I call out with fire raging around my bey. It swooped down and knocked Savanna out, then Forest Head.
One left.
A bey attacked Pele while it was still on its attack tip. It switched to balance and pushed back. Pele was on the edge of the arena and I couldn't make a move.
My eyes hardened," PELE! LAST RESORT!"

Nile's pov

'HOW MANY FLIPPING SPECIAL MOVES DOES SHE HAVE?!' I thought as my bey was pushed back. Her's was putting up a pretty good fight, even though she was the substitute blader. The way her bey spun in perfect harmony with her (h/c) hair and danced with her (e/c) eyes made her all the more-
'NILE, WHAT IN THE NAME OF BEYBLADE ARE YOU THINKING?! ATTACK HER! DON'T JUST WAIT!'
Our beys were now at the rim and she was breathing heavily. Those moves must have exhausted her.

Normal pov

"PELE!" I cry out as the opposing bey gave one last shove, sending Pele out and to my feet.
"TEAM WILD FANG WINS! WHAT A SHOW!" Blader DJ seemed happy about my loss.
"Sorry guys. I lost."
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Y/n, THAT WAS THE BEST BATTLE WE'VE EVER FOUGHT?! WHY ARE YOU SORRY?!" Carleigh shook my shoulders as we walked back to the exit.
I smile slightly at her enthusiasm," but I lost..."
"Think we care about that, sis?" Jake threw his arm over my shoulder," we lost. But we lost as a family. That's what counts. We were in it as a team. A family."

I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turn to see Carrot-head.
"Well done."
I blink," th-thanks. You too."
Carleigh wiggles her eyebrows at Jake and they slip away, leaving me with Carrot top.
"Some siblings they are..." I mutter and he laughs.
"Seriously though. Well done. Not many people can say that they almost beat the whole of Wild Fang on their own."
I blush and look down at my shoes,' is that stain new?'
"Would your team like to eat with us?" The words were out of my mouth before I could stop them.
He smiles," sure. I'll tell them that there's a new park open and that it has a brand new, state of the art, 360 degrees, stadium.
I giggle and his eyes light up.
"Its a date then. I better go find those two before they get the wrong idea."
"Probably best. But one last thing."
"Carrottop?"
"Nile."
"Carrottop,"
"Nile."
"Nile."
"Carrottop."
"Good. Now that we understand each other, I'm Y/n."
"Close your eyes."
"Oookay?" I close my eyes and feel pressure on my lips. My eyes fly open to see Carrottop kissing me.
Whistles and cheers erupted," YEAH Y/N! GET SOME!"
"CARLEIGH!"
"Carleigh... Jake..."
"Run?"
"Run."
My two siblings ran off and I made to go after them but Carrottop held me by my waist.
"Let them go, y/n." He mumbled against my lips," they're not worth it."

Extended ending:

Nile wore a goofy grin that turned into a confused frown as he walked into Wild Fang's house. Kyoya was standing there with a video camera with Demure and Benkei behind him, barely holding in their laughter.
"Get much, Nile?" Kyoya's smirk grew to my blushing face.
"KYOYA!"
