*Some time later*
The slick roads ahead of us were facing the worst of conditions in the past ten years. I have counted three cars crashed since we started our journey.
"Ten more minutes guys." Daff repeatedly told us how long until we arrived. But it just made the dangerous ride last even longer.
All five of us sat crammed together juggling over the three small seats in the back, with the speeds we were going; I didn't think we were going to make it in one piece.
"It's just around the corner." Daff turned the wheel sharply and we all fell over towards the window.
"Oi oi!" Omar held up his hands defending me from all the tumbling boys. I sat on his lap on the way home because he was set keen on protecting me.
"Sorry." OG apologized and recollected his balance.
Oscar and I had only been released from the hospital earlier this morning; I had no place to stay where I was safe so we all collected into Daff's house for the night.
He flipped on the lights as we entered his apartment revealing the open living area.
"It'll be fine, we can use the couches." Felix said.
Katia had closed the front door behind us and travelled back to her house that night while the rest of us collected here.
"I hope that is good enough because that is all there is." Daff showed us his small couch; it wasn't nearly large enough to fit all of us.
"Well, I vote Alisha takes the couch because her stomach needs the most support right now; I will set up beds on the floor." Omar commented and left to grab blankets for the boys.
"Thank you so much guys, and godnatt Daff."
He waved goodbye to all of us and left us to be; right as Omar returned with the blankets.
Oscar quickly grabbed blankets and set up my bed for me.
"Thanks babe." He held my waist and my hand slowly lowering me to the couch.
"Don't worry about it... and if you need anything just let me know, we are all here if you need."
The lights soon shut off with only the moonlight and faint snores to keep company.
When my eyes reopened I expected the sun to blind me but I was mistaken, It had only been three hours since we had all settled for the night. But my stomach had felt upset.
I glanced down to my stomach where the scar was healing over, but something wasn't right.
"Damn!" I hustled my way over to the washroom to purge. Something was defiantly not right.
As my stomach heaved I could feel my muscles straining to keep up. It couldn't have been healthy for me to be doing this considering how weak I was still.
Footsteps creaked through the wood floors in the living space. Shit! I woke someone up.
"Oh my goodness!" Omar bent down to pull my hair out of my face. "What happened to you?"
"I don't know..."
I finished sickening myself and he sat me in the kitchen to drink some ale.
"This will settle your stomach."
"Thank you...” I began to sip the sweet drink as he sat behind me rubbing my back.
"My mother does this to me when I am sick." His hands moved down my back creating little circular motions all the way up my back and towards my stomach.
