Long before the Great shinobi nations, there were 12 people with immense power. They oversaw the peace in the world. But when the world needed them they disappeared.
However hundreds of years later they fall into the hand of one Naruto Uzumaki.
In the village of Konoha a small child could be seen running through the alleys. Normally this would be a sign of happiness, but not in the case of one Naruto uzumaki. He was, once again, being chased by those accursed villagers and on his birthday too. His little brain could not comprehend why they would choose to do this when he has never done anything to them. This chase continued for over an hour until Naruto got to a closed gate leading into a mighty forest. He could hear that the mob was not far away so the only chance he had was to jump the gate, which in itself was over 2 metres. He just about made it by the time the villagers got to the gate. Naruto started to run again, hoping that the villagers didn't start to chase him again. However as he was running he heard some odd things coming from behind him. He could hear things like "He won't survive in there" and "We've already won". Despite the nagging in the back of his mind to turn back, he continued running until he eventually collapsed from exhaustion. Little Naruto kept pulling himself further and further into the dense woodlands. After about 5 minutes, however, he slowly slipped into unconsciousness.
When he finally woke up it was the next morning and sunlight had breached thought the thick canopy of the trees above. Naruto attempted to stand up only to cry out in pain due to the injuries he had sustained due to the villagers torments. Instead he lay down again on the soft grass to contemplate his existence until he had healed due to his fast healing abilities. When he was about to lie down his hand knocked a switch of some kind, leaving the small child to fall down into the chasm below. A few seconds later he hit the floor with a loud thump sending layers of dust flying into the air around him making Naruto have a coughing fit. When the coughing finally ceased, Naruto started to take in his surroundings. Not much was very visible considering the surface was a fair few metres up and not much light got through the small gap where he had fallen through. From what it looked like, this place was a temple of some sort or something that holds something that is worshipped. Seeing that Naruto wouldn't be able to climb his way out of the underground temple, he decided to try and find a suitable way out.
At first glance the chasm didn't seem to be very large but the more Naruto explored, the more he found himself lost within a maze of corridors and empty rooms. At the end of one of these corridors Naruto saw a light poking out from under a closed door. He slowly stumbled towards it, hoping to find a way out but he was cautious, in case there was someone unfriendly there or that it was a trap to stop intruders. As he opened the large oak door slowly he peeked his head through to check for danger, however just like all the other rooms, this one was empty. But at the end of the room were two pedestals, and floating on the top of these pedestals were two gemstones, each emitting their own light. One of these gemstones was black and green and the other was white and green.

They seemed to draw Naruto in for some reason and he just wanted to touch them and take them. He was mesmerised as he limped towards the pedestals. As he reached out to touch them he was suddenly propelled back into the wall by an unseen and the gemstones started sparkling with energy. The force of the blast was enough to knock the small child out as soon as he impacted with the wall leaving a small human shape dent behind. As he slowly fell unconscious again he saw two figure walk infant of his now short vision before he gave in to his body and lost consciousness.
If he were to still have been awake he would have seen these two figures walk towards him. One of them was clearly a tall, fairly muscular man with ginger hair and black and green highlights. He had black and green eyes and ghostly pale skin. He was wearing anbu-like trousers and a black and dark green flack jacket over a plain black shirt with no right arm sleeve. He also had a long, jet black katana attached to his back. The other figure was a small woman with long white hair and light green highlights. She had white and light green eyes and slightly tanned skin. She had black tights on with bandages wrapped around the bottoms had a light grey shirt that started just under her shoulders. She also had bandages on her wrists and also carried a white katana on her back.
The woman walked infant of the man and crouched infant of Naruto as a green energy surrounded her palms and covered the young boy before healing all his wounds. After seeing that he was fully healed she stood up and turned to her male counterpart and asked in a silky, calming voice "So this is the saviour of the world?". The man replied with just a nod before saying in a husky voice "If he managed to bond with our crystals then he must be the one". After he said this he went to the pedestals and picked up the crystals and places them in Naruto's pocket. "He will know of us when the time is right" he said before disappearing in a black and green flame. The woman, after taking one last look at the child, vanished in a white and green burst of energy leaving Naruto all alone in the room.
When he woke up he looked around the room he saw that the two crystals were gone and there was a small winding staircase where the door used to be. Finding that all his injuries were fully healed, he picked himself up and started to find his way back home.
Inside his mind a large foe with nine tails opened his eyes from his sleep, only to say to himself "It seems that the prophecy the old man once spoke of is starting. Now all you have to do is save the world, young Uzumaki" before drifting back to sleep.
That is the end of the first chapter of the book. It has been a long time since i updated purely because of exams and me not finding a good way to start it off. Updates should be more frequent from now on. Also can i just say RIP Chester Bennington, Linkin park was one of my most favourite bands and to know that it may be over now is sad to think about.
