Hey guys its Gingaminga13 back with another chapter of 'The Twelve Elements'. I'm quite happy with myself considering i'm about to update 2 days in a row which I haven't really done yet on either of my stories. Anyway I'm sure no-one wants to read my ramblings so lets continue with the chapter.

It took Naruto a while to find his way out of the forest that covered the entrance or exit to the giant underground temple of some sort but he eventually made it out to one of Konoha's training grounds. He was not alone on the training ground, however, as there was a man with silver hair and ANBU clothing and a man in awful green and orange spandex and the two seemed to be sparring. The two seemed to be quite strong so he decided to watch them so he could learn to make his fighting better, especially his taijiutsu. The spar continued on for another half hour after which the guy in green spandex shouting something that sounded like youth and run off after the guy with silver hair used a shunshin to leave. Those two were definitely weird but they were also strong and Naruto had strong respect for strong shinobi, contrary to popular belief. Throughout their short sparring session, Naruto had picked up a few things that he would like to try himself. Seeing that the spar had ended and the two that were taking part had left, he continued to walk home.
When he got home he realised that the villagers, instead of chasing him into the forest, they would ransack his apartment. Words such as 'demon' and 'monster' were carved onto his wooden door and inside the apartment everything was trashed. Using the corner of his now smashed mirror, he looked to see that his jumpsuit was ruined. Not that he minded, he hated that damn thing but it was the only thing that the villagers would sell him and even then it was sold at a ridiculous price. It was fine though cause he had plenty more of them left in his cupboard. He sighed, once again reflecting on how bad his life was as he started to take the jumpsuit off so he could put it in the bin. The young boy started to check his pockets in the slim chance that there was anything in them. he was surprised to find that the two gemstones that he found earlier were inside his pocket and still emitting a light glow. The fact that they had got there surprised Naruto as he knew that they wouldn't have fallen into his pockets cause he was far away from the pedestals the he fell unconscious. That meant that someone or something had put them there which intrigued Naruto as it meant there was someone that possibly didn't hate him enough to give him two important things, at least he thought they were important considering they were on a pedestal. Deciding to keep them safe he tied some string around them and put them around his neck so that he knew they were safe but he put them just out of view so that the villagers wouldn't try to steal them. Feeling pleased with himself, he decided to go and see the third hokage just in case, with his wisdom, he knew what they were.
It took a while for Naruto to make it to the hokage's office as he had too use alley ways and rooftops so that he didn't have rocks or stones thrown at him on his way. When he walked in the secretary gave him a glare. He knew that she hated him and always tried to get him to leave but over the years Naruto has found a way to get past without anything by saying that he could get her fired, which wasn't that true but she believed it and it worked which was the most important. After listening through the door of the hokage's office to check that there was no-one in there besides the hokage and his ANBU he waltzed in. When he walked in the old man at the desk looked up and at seeing Naruto, smiled, one of the only genuine ones Naruto ever sees. After the third giving him an expectant look, Naruto asked the question which had been bugging him for at least an hour so far. "Jiji, do you know what these are and if they have any importance?" he asked expectantly, whilst holding out the gems for the old man to see. Said person studies them for a minute or two before replying with a short "No". After seeing Naruto dejected face however, he tried to comfort the juvenile by expanding on his words. "No i haven't Naruto but just because i haven't seen them before, it doesn't mean they aren't important. I would keep them with you for now and maybe you will find the answer to your own question soon enough" said the old man in a comforting voice that he only used for people that he cares about, Naruto being one of them. After hearing this explanation, Naruto seemed satisfied and the 8 year old child quickly ran out of the room whilst shouting a quick thanks as he was on his way. Sarutobi only smiled and then frowned as he saw the piles of paperwork that he swore were rising when he didn't look at them. He sighed and got back to work.
