Hey guys its gingaminga13 back again with the 3rd official chapter of 'The Twelve Elements'. I just want to ask for people to give me any criticism they have cause I can only work on it if I'm aware of the problem. Of course I can't if they contradict each other but I'll sort out that problem when it comes to it. Also if anyone wants any of their own characters put into the story do say cause I can probably find a way to fit it in in The 3 years between Naruto and Naruto Shippuden. Anyways thats it for me right now.

When the group got to Naruto's apartment, the older boy started putting up some sort of seal on the walls before coming and joining the other two on the sofa. The two teens looked at the young child expectantly before they realised that he didn't know what he was supposed to do. The two looked at each other as if they were deciding who would talk but after about a minute the girl started to talk. " Hello, Naruto " She started, hesitating at seeing Naruto's eyes widen at the fact the two people in his apartment knew his name. "I am Tenshi Aomine and this is my twin brother, Shai." This statement surprised Naruto even more as they didn't look related at all much less being twins. "Are there any questions you want to ask us Naruto?" The young 8 year old thought for a second. There were so many questions that he wanted to ask.
"Why did you help me?" came his question. His voice sounded so broken and mistreated that the boy, now known as Shai, winced from hearing a child sound so lifeless. "We helped you because no child should be beaten for things they cannot control. Also, I didn't want a drunk man touching my gemstone." said Shai but seeing Naruto's face full of confusion, sighed, and continued. "My sister and I were summoned by you from the two gemstones around your neck. Now before you ask any more questions let me explain. Me and my sister come from a long time ago where there where twelve powerful people. Each one was completely in tune with nature and could control a certain one of the twelve natural elements completely. This elements consisted of fire, water, earth, air, lightning, ice, metal, wood, light , shadows, life and death. This was a time before chakra was known about, so those twelve were seen as higher beings of some sort. They used their powers to bring peace in the world because in that point in time clans of samurai roamed the world and they made sure there were no wars between the clans. One day, 12 dragons started to attack each one of the clans, trying to lure them out of hiding. Of course the went to sort them out but the dragons were powerful so the twelve had to resort to sealing the dragons into themselves. This had a few setbacks which caused themselves to be sealed inside of gemstones which changes to represent the element they had mastery over. These gemstones were scattered all across the land after the sealing. The disappearance of the twelve caused the clans to start fighting each other which sparked the first samurai was. There were 8 more after that one and they were only stopped when a woman named Kagura Otsutsuki ate the sacred fruit of the shine tree and gained the use of chakra. Using this ability, Kagura stopped the wars but the power was too much for her and she transformed into the ten tails, a being made of pure chakra. Her children, Hagoromo Otsutsuki, also known as the sage of the six paths, and Hamura Otsutsuki, eventually defeated her and sealed her body into the moon after taking her chakra and splitting it into nine, which are the tailed beasts. The rest of history you know. Now to why we are here. The two gemstones you are wearing are two of the twelve from the story. More specifically the gemstones for the life and death guardians. When you first touched them, you subconsciously pushed chakra into the gemstones meaning that you know own the gemstones and can summon the guardians. Those said guardians are me and my sister. Do you know what that means Naruto?"
After finishing his speech he turned to look at Naruto who was looking at the two and kept switching twin every couple of seconds whilst gawking. Eventually he snapped out of his case. "Does that mean that I'm your summoner?" "Yes Naruto" The young child's face lit up as he started to run and jump around the room screaming think like 'dattebayo' and 'sugoi'. The two teens looked at each other in amusement at seeing an 8 year old backflipping off sofas and tables. After a few minutes he finally calmed down and asked if the the guardians could train him which they agreed to but with certain conditions. "The conditions for us training you is that you will keep your strength a secret at the academy, no complaining about the training, finding the other 10 guardians which may come later once you have at least become genin, at the last condition is to train as hard as you can. Now you have called us out of the gems, we will stay in the real world but if you ever need us just pump a little chakra into the gems and we will appear. Also, we will upgrade the rope you have for a chain that is specialised just for the gems." At this, the gems were suddenly each on their own gold chain. Naruto nodded but remembered one important fact. "If you are going to stay then you should become ninja for Jiji. I bet you are strong so he will probably make you into an ANBU, as well as to keep your real identity a secret. Also, he can give you permission to train me as well as some cool jutsu." When saying this his eyes started to sparkle at the prospect of learning new cool jutsu. "Okay Naruto, you go to see the hokage, we will come to you when you are there." With that said, Naruto rocketed off to the hokage's office.
*small time skip*
Hiruzen Sarutobi was feeling nearly beat. He had spent the past few hours furiously signing the seeming endless paperwork that seemed to come with the job and was now nearly done. Due to minato's passing and the kyuubi attack, the paperwork amounts have spiralled out of control and only now has he got on top of it all. He thought that when he retired he didn't have to deal with this but it seemed that the godly higher ups hated him by setting him endless amounts. In his procrastination about paperwork, the bundle of energy that is Naruto Uzumaki burst through the door screaming 'Jiji!' The elderly hokage looked up from his desk with his usual weary smile but seeing Naruto's face so serious he decided that this was actually important. "Jiji, i found out what the gems did." This intrigued the old man as he too was curious about them. "I would tell you but I think its best if they tell you." Before Sarutobi could question Naruto on who they were, a black and green flame and a white and green puff storm cloud appeared in the room revealing two teens. At seeing the third hokage, they bowed and stated the usual formalities. Hiruzen was confused. They were quite young but had a strong air about them, and the fact that they know Naruto and appeared when he touched the gems on his chain was odd and he wasn't sure whether they were a threat or an ally. Seeing as how Naruto looked like he trusted them completely, he signalled for the ANBU to relax whilst he sat back into his seat.
"Who are you?" was all that he said, too confused for any other question. They looked at each other as if they were debating something when the girl came forward and introduced themselves. "Hello lord hokage, I am Tenshi Aomine and this is my twin brother Shai Aomine. We have come to ask whether we could train young Naruto here, as well as become an ANBU in your forces. Trust me we are more than qualified to be ANBU level and as for teaching Naruto, well, if he is our summoner then it is only natural don't you agree." This confused Hiruzen as he was a summoner himself and they can't stay in the elemental nations for too long so it is almost impossible for them to become shinobi. Not to mention the fact that they are human. Instead of saying anything however he just nodded, beckoning them to continue. "We come from the gemstones on Naruto's neck. This is because we were sealed in there and were released when Naruto pushed chakra subconsciously into them which means he can summon us to fight alongside him. He also has the ability to use our powers but we will seal most of his power off until he is ready spot he can control it." To the hokage this all made sense and if they are as powerful as they seem then they would easily make ANBU. He also assumed that they wanted to have their identity hidden from the rest off the village. He nodded as a sign of agreement and told the teens to return tomorrow so he can initiate them into the ANBU. They nodded and then left along with Naruto. Those two seemed strange but gave of an aura of trust. Only then did he realise that this agreement meant that he had a significant amount more paperwork which he sighed to but at least he could deal with it tomorrow. The gods must really hat him cause the second he thought that the door opened to reveal his secretary with another pile of paperwork. She placed them on his deck only to see the hokage slamming his head on the table saying something about stupid blondes and cursing Kami. 'What a weird man' she thought before leaving the office.

Thats it for this chapter. Finding the other ten guardians wont come until much later in the book until after the main Naruto storyline and getting into Shippuden. I also have an ending planned out which i can aim to get to but it may be over a hundred more chapters until I reach that stage.
