Allie.
His sister cries, "She calls you by your legit name?"
I nod, and reply, "I always have..."

She laughs, and I suddenly notice something.
Percy and his sister are built like werewolves.

Percy must have realized I noticed.
He snaps, "I have to go."

We burst out laughing when Percy runs off.

I wipe a tear away, and Herbert hisses, "Shadows."
He hides behind Lilly.
Lilly looks at me, and asks, "What colour is your egg?"
I shrug, and look at it.
A compass rose is imprinted on it in shiny gold.

She gasps, "Shadow Wanderer Dragon. You're so lucky. Those dragons were said to be extinct! "

I snap a photo with my phone, and make sure to date stamp it.

I see a huge crack split it in two.

I hear Lilly call a teacher over.
Percy reappears beside the teacher, and apologizes to me.
I shrug it off, and we smile at each other.

Percy sees the compass rose, and touches.
He jerks back, and I touch the egg tenderly.
I whisper, "You okay, little Apollo?"

Chirp.

ROOOOAARRR!

Percy curses, "Shit!"

A bright flash catches me by surprise.
A small, black and gold dragon is before me now.

A shiny golden compass rose is on his forehead, and on his wings.
Percy sighs like he's crushing on my dragon, "A Shadow Wanderer."
I call him on it, and he turns red.

He stutters, "It...it,...it.... it's just I've never see one before. He's very handsome. Aren't you Apollo?"

Apollo spreads his wings, bathing in the moonlight.

Apparently, that's what they grow best on.
Pure moonlight.

I stare as his body grows slowly before my very eyes.
Then, he catches the attention of the room.

He roars, now the size of a small pony from lap dog size.

ROOOAAARRRR!

Everyone stares at this magnificent, huge dragon amongst average sized hatchlings.

Apollo has golden eyes that match his markings.

A large man stumbles over, and confronts Percy rudely.
He barks, "Get this malformed Crystal dragon out of here!"

Apollo and Violet are the only dragons built like atmosphere Western dragon.

The rest are Chinese dragons, or built like it.

I snarl, "He is not a Crystal Dragon! He's a Shadow Wanderer, you ass!"
The world freezes.

To prove my point, Apollo spreads his wings.
The compass roses glow through his wings, lining up on the floor in one compass rose.

They begin to spin, and point at the man.
Apollo breaths in sharply, and the compass rose flickers a bit.

Apollo goes to fire.
I cry, "Apollo! No!"
I push his nose down.

He grumbles, gold smoke coming out of his nose.
I hear a voice in my head snarl, "Alice. Let me kill him."

I sigh, "No. You can't kill him."
Apollo huffs, and Lilly leads me away to our dorm.

I hear Apollo curse, "Shouldn't have waited."

I slap his shoulder lightly.

Lilly smiles at me.
She sighs, "You remind me of Herbert..."
At his name, Lillys' fire Drake appears on her shoulder.
I sigh, "Is your brother always like that?"

She retorts, "Socially awkward and silent, yah."
I defend, "Not what I meant."

She stops, and asks, "What did you mean?"
I tell her, and she gags.

Herbert snarls, "He is never huggy. Ever. That is weird. What drugs did you..."
Lilly cries, "HERBERT!"

Herbert disappears in a puff of smoke.
Apollo snorts, and growls when we go into the dorm.
A small bed is there, too small for Apollo.

This seems to anger Apollo.
Then, a lady knocks on the door.

Apollo jumps.

I suddenly notice the huge fins out off his tail and the large spikes hooked towards his head.

The fins expand and wrap around me.

The lady tells us to come to supper,

We jog downstairs, dragons behind us.

I turn around, and almost run into a snob.

She cries, "Get this thing out of my school! It's covered in Racing Stamps! So is its' slime of a rider! Look! Isn't it hideous?"

The groupies, boy and girls alike, roll their noses at me.
They throw their heads up.

I see Percy turning scarlet.
He stands up.

Were did his armor go?

I see it grow around his left fist and round second too late.

BOOM!

She screams, "He hit me! He really hit me!"

A few boys stand up, and Percy narrows his eyes.
A few more stand up, and rush to Percys' side.

The first group sneers, "Well. If it ain't the Silvers?"
Percy and his group tense, and Percy snaps, "At least our dragons don't go hurting other dragons. Allie, come here."

I do, and Apollo follows.
Then, a bunch of dragons appear, all looking like Apollo.

Then, the oppositions' dragons come.
They look more like Herbert.

The dragons on Percys' side all have ugly scars.
I look to Apollo.
He has the marks that those kids called "Racing Stamps".

They look pretty, to be honest.
I reach to touch Apollo, and see gold vines climbing my arms.

Percy has them too, except his are black.

Then, I step back.

So is his dragon.,. And his eyes.
His clothes and hair are all black too.

His buddies also have black eyes and black dragons.

The other side all have light clothes, light eyes, and light dragons.

Percy snarls, "Leave my side alone, am I clear?"
The boy of the snob chirps, "Sure, Midnight Midget..."

I feel my eyes go wide.

Percy has the boy by the collar.
Then, he drops him mercilessly.

My mind reels.
I go to run, but the other side pounce on my unnerved emotions.

They snip, "Oh look, Racer Chicky is scared!"

Then, I hear a low growling.

Then, I see Lilly over the crowd.
She seems humiliated.
Her eyes are red, and so is her face.

Then, everything slows down.

Percy lunges for the boy, and a black orb explodes from my body.
