Alice
I wake up in a dark room.
It seems to be moving like a van would.
I look to my left, and see a boy laying there.
I crawl over.
He looks sad.
Apollo whispers, "He is an orphan. Don't you recognize him, Allie? You really should."
I look closely.
I whisper, "Percy?"
The boy sits up, and looks at me in a haze.
I realize what had happened was just a dream, because it didn't line up with this hot mess.
He grumbles, "Dumno Draco."
He looks at me clearly now.
He sighs, "Violet ne est pas Crystal Draco. Violet est Illuminated Draco. Dumno Draco."
I blink.
I ask, "What? English, Percy!"
He growls, "This est Draco!"
I cry, "No, it isn't! I don't understand a word your saying!"
He retorts, "Tu dumno."
I snap. "I probably am not!"
He sniffs, "Dumno."
I cry, "I am not dumb, Percy!"
Percy chirps, "There, see? Now you make sense!"
I growl, "Why wouldn't you speak English before?"
He sighs, "I don't know English! I know Wolf and Dragon. This is dragon, for all intent and purposes!"
I turn red.
Apparently, we both have two different morning languages.
Wolf and English.
Apollo looks at us, his wings catching some form of light.
His compass roses are pointing at us.
He sighs, "I knew it."
He snaps in his big black and gold sails.
He growls, pointing a claw at each of us in turn, "Orphan, Orphan."
I growl, "Am not!"
Apollo sighs, "I'll prove it."
He expands his wings, and draws them around me.
I look into the gold eyes of my beloved dragon.
