ALLIE
I look around, but lock onto a pair of black and white hetrochromic eyes.
I cry, "Percy!"

A smile tips his face.
Then, Percy sighs, "You okay?"

I hugs him tightly.
He smiles, and kneels in the dirt so he can hug me back.

He asks, "Are you okay, Allie?"

I nod.
He smiles, and helps me up.

Apollo is up beside Percy.
I call to him, but the dragon just glares at me.

Then, I realize that is not my dragon.

Apollo comes down, and lands.
The ground shakes under the excited dragon.

I rush to him, and hug him tight.

I realize his wings are mostly healed, but scars run along them like harsh reminders.
I hug him with my wings.
He purrs.

Then, I turn to Percy.
His wings are still hurt.

I summon my clear powers, and send them to him.

They heal his wings, and he yells in shock.
He flaps his wings, and smiles at me.

I cry, "Percy, you got Astra back!"
The dragon growls.

He snaps, "There are many, many replicas of us. They go insane, and try to kill all in sight. You two are lucky. I've seen honest kids killed because of this. I know how to tell the difference. Tap it twice, and whisper... well... death. If the egg grows warm, she's legit. If it rocks, well... hand it to the authorities. You shouldn't be the one to deal with that."

The dragon leaves, and Percy seems shocked.
His black wings with gold contrasts the red sand from moments before we were healed.

He looks up into the midnight sky, and spreads his wings.
I gape as he turns to me.

He whispers, "We have an egg to find. No worries... right now, we have no responsibilities. They believe us for dead."
I nod, and spread my wings.

Apollo whimpers, "I cannot go. My wings are too weak. I can, however, stay in a mark or an item you never remove. Do you have one, or want one?"

I look to Percy, and ask, "Where do you think the mark would be best?"
He sighs, and taps his chest, his neck, and his shoulders.

He smiles.

He mentions, "That's where I would get it. Where I will get it."

Good to know.

I sigh, and ask, "Can you do it over my heart?"

He nods, and disappears.
I scream, and fall to my knees.

I stand up, and my eyes are sharper.
Percys' eyes are now swirling like white and black fires in separate pits.

Although, I think his brain mixes the two anyway.

Maybe that's why he's so interesting. He's got more than one side to look at. Most people I know only have two sides.

I look at him, and spread me wings.
Every nerve adjustment, I feel it.

Percy smiles, and comments, "That's how I feel, too."
Oh.

I take off, and Percy does too.

We exit through the skylight.
We fly above the school.

I whisper, "Hang on. I want a goodbye first. In case we never get back to see them again."

Percy nods, and lands in a tree like a huge crow, ominous yet beautiful.

I shake it off, and glide through the air.
I try my SI powers.
Selective Invisibiliy powers.
Only certain people can see me.

I see my best friends' window, and flap harder.
I select her and Percy to see me.

I knock on the window.

She opens it, and cries, "You're alive? How's Perc? He livin too?"
I nod, and whisper, "Tell no one. We have to go find some stuff. Anyways, I just wanted to say goodbye incase... yah know. Stuff happens and sometimes people don't make the return flight. Do you get my drift?"

She nods, and we shake hands.

Her window closes, and her roomie asks, "Who was that?"
Loe sighs, sad, "No one. I was just the wind telling me something. Percy and Allie died in the night."

I place a hand on the glass.
A black design is now imprinted on the glass in the shape of Apollo and I, side by side.

I whisper, "There is no returning now. My friends have sworn to my secrecy. I must help Percy now."

I spread my wings a bit more, using their full power.

After all, they do teach us to take wing to give courage to others.
