ALLIE
We fly through the air now, moving too fast to see, but too slow not to try and talk.

We talk about anything and everything.
We talk about favorite weapons, too.

We soon see a small cavern, full of dark stones.
We land, hopeful.

We decide to stop for the night.
Apollo hasn't said a word since we've departed.

I sigh, and try to relax against a stone.
I scream.
It turns red hot.

I hear a scream of anger.

A Shadow Wanderer female lands, beautiful and strong.

She roars at me.
She sniffs me, and purrs.
I whisper, "Percy, if I die right now, summon Apollo."

He nods.
Then, something remarkable happened.

The female turns sweet towards us, as if understanding what we were out here for.

She walks to Percy, and smells him carefully.
She purrs, and grabs the egg I touched.
She carries it to Percy, and sets it down carefully.

Percy touches it, and the image of a red fire (🔥) imprints in the egg.

The egg cracks and the mother purrs encouragements to the egg.
Soon, Percy is trying to help.

I think of a joke as big, strong Percy tries to help the tiny, future dragon.
I think, "How many creatures does it take to hatch a dragon?"

Apollo laughs, and the female stops her coos of endearment.
She turns to me, eyes full of something distant and cold.
She sniffs me over, and rumbles.

Then, she runs off before I see where she went.
My body slams into the ground.

Percy has a black and red dragon with fire running from the end of the membranes to the main bone in her wings and fins, her body looks like it was set on fire, the red and black dancing in the moonlight.

From her nose to her tail tip is a black, flame shaped fin.

The dragon looks like her mother.
Maybe her foster dad.

I suddenly see Percy turning pale.
Then, he leans on his growing dragon for support.

Then, he rushes over.

I black out the moment I feel him give me a hug.

My last memory is Apollos' mighty roar mixed with the roar of the female.
