Josh POV
Nighttime rolled around and I only had spoken to Tyler once, and that was this morning. I feel bad for not letting him know that I'm leaving tomorrow. I just don't know how I would tell him. I scooted back on my bed so that my back and head were resting on the wall. I closed my eyes and sighed out. Tyler's almost 18 he should be able to sign himself out. Well, I don't know he's got some serious issues with that blurryface guy.. He might wanna get that under control before he goes out into the world.  I would sign Tyler out if I could. I just need to find a way to tell him that I'm leaving tomorrow without him thinking I'm abandoning him. Maybe I coul- . My thoughts were interrupted by the door creaking and Tyler coming into the room.
"Hey ty" I say.
" hi" he croaks out.
Should I tell him now or wait a little.
"Where've you been all day bud?" I ask
" I've been where I always am when it rains. In the chair. In the main room."
He seemed kinda irritated.
" is anything going on with you, like is something bugging you?" I question.
He plops onto his bed, looks at the desk and then looks back at me before laying down.
" when did you look at them" he states.
Oh, he must be talking about his writings.
" this morning before you woke up"
"Why."
" I'm not sure they were there and I just read them. I'm sorry"
" just please put them back in order next time." He sighed and turned so he was facing the wall.
" Ty " I say hesitantly
" Josh" he says back.
"I- I'm uh. I'm leaving tomorrow"
He stayed silent.
" Tyler?" I question.
"Oh good for you josh..." He said trailing off.
" I'm sorry" I say
" no it's fine." his voice sounded kinda shaky.
" are you sure?"  I ask
" definantly not, but hey at least you're doing good. I happy for you josh, it just sucks. You're the only person I've warmed up too here and I'm not good with new people, ya know." He says. I feel absolutely terrible. I can't leave Tyler, now that I think of it I need him just as much as he needs me.
" come with me" I say
" I can't, I'm not 18 yet so I can't sign myself out and I haven't made progress since I've been here, they won't let me go." He sighed out.
" then sneak out. I knew you want to leave just as much as me and we both need and depend on each other " I push
" how" he asks
" well as dumb as it sounds they always leave the back doors unlocked, you could sneak out that way, or after they come and get me to leave you could break the window with that chair and leave through the window" I say.
"Alright." He says getting up and heading towards the desk gathering all the papers from various drawers, folding them and putting them in his pockets.
He then went and sat back on his bed.
" I'll leave tonight and when they come to get you tomorrow morning and they ask about me, just say I'm using the restroom or something" he said
" okay buddy. I'll meet you at that Gas station a few blocks away" I reply.
We waited till everything was silent and till all the nurses and guards were asleep. Then Tyler got up put on his shoes and rested his hand on the handle then looked over at me. " till tomorrow friend" he said before twisting the door and sneaking out. We were finally gonna be free. WE were gonna be FREE. I just hope he stays okay until I meet with him tomorrow. I turned over in my bed and fell asleep shortly after.
