Dear Simon,

I helped my neighbor out today with some decorating. He called me the Christmas queen and I never felt so happy to be close to someone again.

Remember last Christmas when I helped you and boys decorate, three days before Christmas? Talk about a challenge.

I love Christmas but it reminds me of you so much, I think that's why I started to write these.

It's about time we talk about things right? It's been a year exactly and I don't want to be angry at you anymore. I don't want you angry at me anymore.

My neighbor, Charlie, he's really sweet and he asked me out on a real date this time, but I hesitated.

Mostly because I'm hoping you'll tell me not to go but you aren't here and you're still not responding to me.

I think it's time to move on.

So I said yes, he's taking me out to dinner and I'm excited.

Did I tell you he's a lawyer? And that his favorite color is green? He has the corniest jokes and he makes really good pasta.

I think you'd like him. I told you before he reminds me of you, but I'm starting to see him as a person and not just my weird neighbor.

I'm excited for this date.

But you don't care, I don't know why I'm still talking about this.

From,
Celeste
