Dear Simon,

I just got home and I'm already regretting this. My sister tried to pick a fight with me about something, I let it go because she's pregnant and her hormones are out of whack but I'm getting so tired of being here and it's only been a few hours. My mom made me my favorite cookies to make me feel better from the jet lag.

My dad asked about you and I told him I didn't know how you were. He said that I should come back home, that everyone missed me.

That you missed me.

But he wouldn't tell me how he knew that, I hardly believe it too.

The idea of you missing me is ludicrous.

He told me that tomorrow he's taking me out to breakfast in the city at our favorite spot, saying he wanted to talk to me but not with the house full of guests.

Remember last Christmas when we had breakfast with my parents and my siblings and little Isla wouldn't leave you alone?

She misses you a lot too, asked me where you were.

I wish I could've told her you were on your way.

Love,
Celeste
