'Welcome back Co-Master'
Gray and Natsu exchanged a hug before heading down with the rest of the Guild, for sure when they hear the news a party will take place.
Natsu walked behind Gray as everyone watched them, Natsu now had both of his shirt sleeves rolled up so his shoulders were visible. Gray sat with Erza, Lucy, Happy and Silver. Natsu sat next to Silver with Gray on the other side of the boy.
Gray looked at Happy. "Happy? Do you want your guild mark back as well?" He smiled.
Happy looked at Gray confused. "What do you mean 'as well'" He looked to Natsu's shoulder and noticed the red Guild mark and smiled a big smile "NATSU! You rejoined the Guild!!??" he shouted as he hugged the dragon slayer.
Happy's outburst caught the attention of the girls who were having a conversation with each other and not really paying attention to the others.
"Natsu! That's Great! We finally have our nakama back with us and we have our team back!!" Lucy exclaimed with her eyes shining.
Erza agreed and pulled Natsu across the table in a 'Head' crushing hug.
"I'm actually Co-Master now!" Natsu exclaimed with a big grin on his face after Erza let him go.
"Really!?? That means were staying here, right!!??" Silver beamed and looked up at Natsu with hopeful eyes.
Natsu ruffled his hair and smiled. "Yeah we're staying"
"Yay!!" Silver cheered and hugged Natsu and then turned to Gray "And now I get to see you everyday! and you can teach me magic!!" He hugged Gray too.
Gray choked up again and hugged the boy letting more happy tears fall from his eyes. Erza and Lucy as well as Natsu just watched the two with loving looks 'SO CUTE!!! Gray will be a great father!' They both thought.
"You did a good job raising him Natsu" Erza smiled.
"Of course I did!" Natsu smiled too.
Erza then turned to Gray who wiped his eyes and was now calmed down "And you!" she pointed to him and he immediately tensed up and stared at her wide eyed "You better be a good father to him or else!!" She had that scary look in her eye which caused Gray to gulp and nod.
"I will! I promise!"
"Good!" she smiled and Gray calmed down again.
Everyone else had heard the news and pretty soon every one was cheering, then a celebration broke out.
Happy ended up getting his guild mark back as well, he and Silver were sitting at the bar with Mira giving each of them something to eat, Fish for happy and Ice cream for Silver. Erza and Lucy were sitting together celebrating their friends return. Gray and Natsu were sitting at a back table but still in view of the bar to keep an eye on Silver.
Gray looked at Natsu. "you know, I wish I could have been a part of raising Silver"
"I'm sorry, I was being stubborn for staying away for so long, I was actually afraid that you'd hate me for leaving like I did." Natsu looked down at his hands.
Gray chuckled "I could never hate you, but I was also afraid that you hated me too.." He smiled sadly "you had a right to"
"I did hate you but I got over that after a year passed." He looked up at Gray and smiled.
Gray smiled and draped an arm over Natsu's shoulders. The fire mage looked down and seemed to have fallen into a deep thought. Gray watched all the members celebrating and smiled to himself.
It started to get late and Natsu didn't seem to notice so Gray nudged his side. "Hey, Natsu, It's getting late and Silver's already passed out." Gray pointed to the boy who had come over to them and some point and was now sleeping with his head on Gray's lap.
"Oh, I guess I should take him home..."
"You can stay at my apartment if you'd like, you're house is further from the guild anyway." Gray offered.
Natsu looked at Silver and nodded "Yeah, thanks" he smiled.
"No problem, I'll go tell Mira were leaving" Gray got up after moving Silver with out waking him.
"Hey Mira?"
"Yeah Gray?" she smiled at the Ice mage, she was also the only other member who was still sober.
"Me and Natsu are heading out, Silver fell asleep and Natsu was gunna take him to my house, are you gunna be alright here?" he asked.
"I'll be alright Gray, You and Natsu get out of here and Take care!" She smiled before heading back to clean up a few more beer mugs.
Gray walked back over to Natsu and hoisted Silver up in his arms. the child's head rested in the crook of Gray's neck. "Okay, Let's go."
Natsu nodded and stood up. They made their way to Gray's apartment, once they got there Gray went straight upstairs to the spare room and placed Silver down on the bed and covered him in a blanket, then he went back down to Natsu who was sitting on the couch, He sat down next to the fire mage.
"He really likes you Gray." Natsu smiled. "I'm glad"
"Me too, I would be upset if my own son didn't like me.." Gray chuckled a little.
"He also really wants to learn your magic, when he was younger he always had a fascination with winter and ice"
"heh..When tomorrow comes, I'll teach him how to make an ice shield, that's the first thing I was taught, but I was taught in the snow so I could get used to the cold." Gray placed a finger under his chin as if he was thinking of something.
"I swear Gray, If you give him your stripping habit-" Natsu was cut off
"I wont! Don't worry, I'll think of something! My habit is not something I want him to get influenced into! that's why I managed to keep my clothes on today!" He protested.
"Oh really? Then where's your clothes?" Natsu smirked
Gray looked down to find he was only in his boxers. "Not again!" Gray jumped up and searched his house for his discarded clothing. He found them on the stairs.
Natsu laughed as Gray was putting his clothes back on. Gray looked at Natsu who was yawning. "You can either sleep on the couch, join Silver or you can join me in my bed. "
Natsu thought for a minute and looked at Gray. "I think I'll join Silver." He smirked at the pout that played on Gray's features and made his way to the guest room.
Gray went up to his room still pouting, he got in bed and fell asleep.
