|| Plan? Screw That ||

Chenle's POV:

"Okay Chenle, this is what you have to do." Jaemin started and I nodded my head slowly, a bit confused.

"Guys.. I don't.. He needs a big plan." I heard Renjun say to them, making Donghyuck shush him.

"Then what do.. He does?" Not being able to understand everything wasn't the funniest thing and I decided to just ignore them, until Renjun decided to translate it to me.

"They want to do something really big, for when you confess to Jia a-"

"Wow, what?" I interrupted him and he laughed, before shaking his head.

"You obviously don't know how to confess to her, so we will help you." My eyebrows furrowed and I looked at my older members, who already had their attention on us.

"But.. Why would I want to do something, like, really big? I asked Yeoreum out simply.. Plus I did it myself." I stated and Renjun nodded his head, before translating to the guys.

Feeling the vibrations of my phone, I fished it out from my pockets and looked at the message.

'You still up for the movie night?' A smile found its way onto my face and the voices of the guys got distant as I started writing a reply.

'Yeah, of course!' Patiently, I waited for an answer, until someone snapped their fingers in front of my face, making my head snap up and I looked at Renjun.

"They're letting you choose, what you want to do." A laugh left me as I rolled my eyes and looked back down at my phone, just as I got a message.

"You're letting me choose how I want to confess to my crush? That's such a big thing!" I gaped and I'm sure Renjun rolled his eyes. I felt him elbow me in my side and a laugh escaped me, when I remembered the message, I had just received.

'What movies should I prepare?' I bit down on my lip as I went through the different movie genres.

'Comedy!' I finally looked up to see them talking again and I figured it was still about me.

"Chenle before you confess and become a couple and all that, I think we need a talk." Mark told me and I nodded my head slowly.

"Like.. You better.. Treat her right, because she's a good friend of ours and.. We'll.." I didn't understand the last part of Donghyuck's sentence and when I looked at Renjun for help, he just shook his head.

"Okay, that was it, right?" Jeno nodded his head at Jisung, but Jaemin shook his head and looked at me with a grin.

"Do you want us to get you some flowers or something?"

"She doesn't.. Like flowers." I shook my head at Jaemin and before they could ask me anything else, I quickly stood up. I excused myself and walked into my room, to get ready.

At the moment, I didn't feel too nervous just a bit frustrated, but when I stood in front of her, I knew, I would become a nervous mess.

"Ah.. What do I even say?" I ruffled my hair in frustration as I looked for some clothes.

"Just say straight out that you like her. You know Jia doesn't like surprises or big things like that." I squeaked at Renjun's voice and I looked at him.

"But isn't that.. Too.. I don't know, weird? Or rude?" He shrugged his shoulders and leaned against the wall.

"Maybe you're right.. What about telling how dumb you were, for dating Yeoreum, when she, Jia, had liked and cared for you for so long." I frowned and looked away from him for a few seconds, before grabbing a sweater.
"You want me to insult myself?" He chuckled and shook his head.

"Just admit you were dumb f-"

"If I admit I was dumb, then I am insulting myself!" I exclaimed with raised eyebrows and he sighed, before nodding his head with a small grin.

"But don't you admit, it was a bit stupid of you?" Now that I thought about it, I was pretty stupid to date a girl like Yeoreum.

I nodded my head, making him smirk in satisfaction and he turned around, leaving the room. With a sigh, I grabbed my clothes, before going to the bathroom.

"I was stupid to ignore her feelings.."

I was right.

Now that I stood at her doorstep, I was more nervous than ever. I almost couldn't knock on her door, because my hands were shaking and as soon as she opened, she knew something was off.

"You sure, you're okay?" She laughed slightly as I nodded my head quickly and I sat down on her bed.

"W-which movie are we watching?" I mentally hit myself for stuttering, because now she knew, I was nervous.

"We're.. We're watching this new comedy- are you sure, you're alright? Are you flustered or something?" She placed her hand on my forehead, which only made everything worse for me and I moved her hand away.

"I.. Eh.. I'll just get straight to the point." I shook my head quickly and took a deep breath. Her face screamed confusion and I looked at her.

"I was stupid.." I started off with insulting myself, like Renjun had told me to do and she tilted her head to the side with a small smile.

"What do you mean, Chenle?"

"I was stupid enough to ignore your feelings and date a girl, who didn't even like me!" My outburst made her jump slightly and she nodded, urging for me to continue.

"The point is.. Now I won't ignore your feelings.. I mean if you still have some for me."
I mumbled the last part and looked down. A small giggle made me raise my head and I saw her shake her head.

"Chenle.. Are you confessing?" Biting my lower lip, I nodded my head slowly and by the look of her face, she was surprised.

"I am.. I don't know why I hadn't fallen for you earlier, since you're the sweetest person I know and you took so good care of me, when me and Yeoreum broke up, even though you were going through things that were much worse." The smile on her face grew bigger and a small feeling of relief rushed through me.

"I like you Jia. Like a lot.. Do you, you know, still have some feelings for me? And if you do, would you.. Like to go on a date with me?" For the first time today, I looked directly into her eyes and I could see my own reflection in them.

I noticed something else about them, they were shining brightly.

"Yes, Chenle. I still have feelings for you and of course, I'll go on a date with you."
