Six Months Ago
Jia's POV:
"Don't be out for too late!" Chenglei ruffled my hair as I was tying my shoes and I shook my head.
"I won't!" I replied and gave him a quick hug before walking out.
I walked around for a bit and took in every little detail of what I saw.
After walking around and just thinking I decided to go to the nearest park.
It was a little late.
That was probably why the park was almost empty.
Almost.
A guy sat on the swings and looked quite upset which made me feel slightly upset as well.
He looked up at me as I walked closer to him and I gave him a smile.
"Are you okay?" I asked him and sat on the other swing. He shrugged and looked down.
"Do you understand me?" I asked because it didn't seem like he did.
He shrugged and I took a closer look at him.
Maybe he was Chinese..
"Do you know Chinese?" I asked in Chinese and his head snapped up before he nodded really quickly.
I smiled at him, happy I found someone from China.
"My name is Jia!" He grinned slightly at me and bowed. "I'm Chenle!"
"Are you lost or something, Chenle?" I asked and he sighed before nodding.
"I have to find this company.. SM." He told me making me nod.
"I know where it is!" I sent him a smile and stood up making him stand up as well.
"How do you know that?" He asked as I started leading the way and I shrugged.
"My brother trains there.." I rubbed my arm and he nodded.
"It's a bit far from here.." I mumbled and he shrugged.
"It's fine, it's my first day, they can't be too mad." He smiled slightly and I looked at him.
"When did you come to Korea?" I asked and he looked back at me before running a hand through his hair.
"Like I said, it's my first day. I just arrived yesterday so I don't know any Korean.." He laughed awkwardly and I nodded.
"I came to Korea four years ago because of my brother. He has trained for almost four years but he hasn't debuted yet.." I mumbled before sighing and he nodded
"How old are you?" He asked and I grinned.
"I'm turning 15 this year!" I exclaimed and he grinned.
"So do I! We were destined to meet!" He joked and I laughed with a nod.
"If you want help with Korean just tell me!" He smiled at me before nodding and I looked away.
"Do you ever miss China?" I looked at him weirdly and I nodded with a sigh.
"Why are you asking?" He shrugged at my question and looked down.
"I know I'll miss it.. I haven't been in Korea for even a week and I kinda already miss home.." He sighed and silence took over.
"This is your home now.." I mumbled breaking the silence and he looked at me.
"I know, that's why I'm happy I made a friend who knows Chinese, then maybe I won't feel too homesick!" He laughed trying to brighten the mood and it worked because I laughed as well.
We reached the big building and he rubbed his neck.
"You don't have to go with me, if you don't want to.." He looked away and I smiled before walking inside.
"They know who I am!" We started walking through the doors until I saw a familiar practice room.
"That's my brothers practice room." I pointed at the door as we continued down the halls.
"What's your brothers name?" He asked.
"Chenglei." I replied as I walked into the office and I waved at the familiar guy.
"Oh, Jia! Are you here to visit your brother?" He asked and I shook my head before gesturing to the boy behind me.
"This is Chenle and he got lost!" I said and he looked through his papers before nodding.
"Chenle! It's your first day so I'll let you off for now!" He said and Chenle looked at me confused.
"He doesn't know Korean!" I said and translated what the man had said to him making the boy nod.
"Can you help him find his practice room?" I nodded and he told which practice room to go to.
"Come on, Chenle! Let's find your practice room!" I grinned at him and he sent me a grin as well.
"What am I going to do? I don't know Korean at all!" Chenle asked panicking slightly and I patted his shoulder.
"If none of them knows Chinese I'll be your translator!" I smiled at him and he lot out a sigh before nodding.
"If it wasn't for you, I would still be sitting on the swing in the park!" He let out a laugh as I stopped in front of a door and I was about to knock when he stopped me.
"Let me get ready!" He breathed and I laughed before knocking and I opened the door making six heads turn towards me.
I pushed the guy into the room and waved at Mark who was the only one I knew.
"Hey, Jia!" He smiled and nodded at Chenle.
"Who's the guy?" He asked and I smiled at Chenle who looked a bit nervous.
"This is Chenle, he's going to train with you!" I smiled at the boys and a boy looked up.
"That name doesn't sound very Korean.." The boy who had looked up said and I shook my head.
"He isn't, he's Chinese!" I said and another boy looked up, a smile on his face showing his crooked teeth.
"I'm Chinese too!" The boy said in Chinese and stood up before bowing at Chenle who immediately bowed back.
"I'm Chenle." He said before turning to me and giving me a smile.
"I'm Renjun!" He smiled as well and I felt relieved knowing that he would be able to translate for him.
"I'll leave you guys alone now!" I said in Chinese before saying the exact same thing in Korean and Chenle ran up to me.
"Wait, before you go. Can I get your number? I might need some help later.."
