Jia's POV:
"Aren't you going to get in trouble for doing this?" I asked the boy, who was dragging me farther and farther away from my house and he gave me a grin.
"Nop- maybe, but the point is, that I haven't seen you, other than in school, for almost a whole week! I think I need some time with my girlfriend!" That made me blush and with a glare, I hit his shoulder, before letting him drag me towards whatever.
"By the way, we're going to the zoo and I brought an extra shirt for you, if you get cold!" He was so excited and I couldn't help but get a bit excited myself.
"Why would I get cold? Summer is just ending, but the thought is cute!" I laughed as he grabbed onto my arm.
"Let me be a nice boyfriend!" He seemed too happy about calling himself a boyfriend, because this cocky smile didn't leave his face, for the most of the walk.
"And this time, I'm wearing a mask, so no one will ever predict it's me!" He exclaimed, which made me raise my eyebrows and I nodded my head as he covered his mouth with the white mask.
"Let's go, I'm so excited!" This time it was actually me, who caused people to turn their head in our direction and Chenle chuckled as we both stepped into the zoo.
"I'm a bad influence on you." I widened my eyes at his sentence, before nodding my head quickly and he stuck his tongue out at me.
"Well, you said it yourself! And look at me running around, screaming, like you would usually do.." I sighed in disapproval, only making the Chinese boy cling to my arm and whine.
"I honestly feel so offended, like how dare you?" His use of words made me laugh and I intertwined my hand with his.
He didn't laugh and had a straight face for the next few moments and I groaned, before hugging his waist, ignoring my burning face.
"You aren't really mad at me, are you?" He shrugged his shoulders.
"What do you want to see first?" The serious expression didn't disappear, making me the slightest bit frustrated.
"The monkeys.." I mumbled and an airy laugh left him, before the serious expression came back.
"Chenle, please don't be mad at me." The roles had changed. Before, he was the one to cling on me, but now I was the one clinging to him, trying to get him to talk, but it was a lot harder than expected. From Chenle, you wouldn't expect him to be this quiet and serious for this long.
"I could never, it's just funny to see you like that!" A goofy grin broke out onto his face and I had to hold myself back from strangling him.
"You annoying little- Yeoreum?" I squinted my eyes, trying to get a closer look at the girl, who stood and looked at the hippopotamuses.
"Well, that was one rude thing to say.." He stated, making me shake my head and gesture towards the girl, who appeared to be here alone.
By the sight of her, Chenle widened his eyes, before he grabbed my hand and bolted away, the both of us laughing.

After our little escape from Yeoreum, we were now looking at the monkeys, but we couldn't stop laughing at the fact, we just ran away from her, even though she didn't see us.
"What was she doing here all alone?" He questioned, making me shrug my shoulders lightly and I turned to the frisky animals, who were jumping from branch to branch.
"Her boyfriend probably dumped her." I remarked, only making the Chinese boy break out in laughter once again.
"Serves her right if he did, he probably realized that he was being used." He mumbled, making the atmosphere turn bad slightly and I grinned, poking his side, making him jump slightly.
"That, he realized faster than you!" I teased him, resulting in him poking his tongue at me and I rolled my eyes at his childish behavior.
"I made a lot of mistakes, I admit.." He mumbled.
"Kind of annoying she stood by the hippopotamuses.. I wanted to take a picture with one of them." He joked, bringing the mood up once again as I laughed, hitting his shoulder.
"We could take a picture with the monkeys instead!" I exclaimed, making the boy grin cutely, before fishing his phone out of his pocket and I did a pose, he copied me.
"If one of the monkeys steals your phone, I'm not responsible."
We took a lot of photos, too many to count and we sat down to look through some of them.
"You actually look like one of the monkeys!" His comment earned him a slap on the shoulder by me, only making him pout.
"I feel like you're beating me up more than usual today!" Shrugging, I scrolled to the next picture, which was one with the both of us, pulling the probably ugliest expression, we could manage.
"Look, that's art. I've never seen something as beautiful and wonderful before!" He complimented the picture, with us looking like fools, making me nod my head.
"You look quite handsome yourself." I pointed out, looking at his triple chin, making him push me with his shoulders lightly.
"Wait, there's one picture I want to take, I didn't get to take.." He started off, standing up from the comfortable bench, dragging me with him.
"Let's take it!" He exclaimed loudly, making people turn their attention to us and I noticed something slightly odd.
He had this really bright blush on his face, which could only mean, that he was planning on doing something, which involved physical contact.
He turned the phone and just as he took the picture, he leaned over and pecked my cheek. A very quick peck, still enough to make me blush though, he was my first boyfriend after all.
After sliding the phone into his pocket again, I couldn't help but lean over and place a quick peck on his cheek myself, leaving him blushing and with yet another grin.
"Now that I've done that, I can check it off my bucket list.."
