The Angel Of Monsters (HiddenTale!Sans x Chara) [COMPLETED]

Chapter 2: The Stranger

    Frisk is laying in bed. Toriel knocks on the door lightly.
    "Hmm?" She looks over at Chara, "Chara... Chara... Chara, are you awake?"  Frisk sits up on her bed.
    Chara almost chokes on drool as she wakes up, "Zzz *snort* Wha? Mornin'..."
    "Morning!" Frisk smiles and puts on a morning robe, and tugs on Chara's pajamas, "Come on! Mommy Toriel is making breakfast! I just know it!" She keeps tugging on her pajamas.
    "NUUUUUUU! MAH BED IS WARM!!", She sighs, "FIIIIINE!"
    Chara falls off of her bed, "Ow... I'm okay!" she gets up and wraps a blanket over shoulders, "To the food!"
    Frisk giggles and walks out the door.
    "Hi mom!" Chara says as they get to the kitchen.
    Toriel smiles at Chara, "Good morning my child!" She then looks over at Frisk rubs her head, "Good morning my little buttercup!"
    "Frisk isn't poisonous..." Chara mumbles and thinks kinda jealously, "Why don't I have a nickname?"
    She sits down and starts eating the pancakes on her plate
    Frisk giggles and sits down at the table, "Good morning Mommy Toriel!" she laughs playfully.
    Toriel giggles lightly and rubs Chara's head.

    HiddenTale!Sans looks around his home, a bit worried, and mumbles to himself, "All alone... A-A-Again..." He sighs, and a tear rolls down his cheek.

    Toriel walks back into her room, "I'll be in here if you need me!" She calls, then smiles and shuts the door.
    "Ok Mommy Toriel!" Frisk says, and looks at Chara, "What now?" Frisk tilts her head to the side slightly.
    "Hmmm, do you wanna go see Sans and Papyrus?" Chara asks.
    "Sure!" Frisk smiles and grabs Chara's hand.
    She then lets go of her hand and walks to Toriel's room. In a little bit, Frisk comes back, "Mommy Toriel said we could go!" She smiles and grabs Chara's hand again.
    "Yay!" She says and follows Frisk out of the house, "What time do you think we should be home?"
    "Hmmm..." she grabs out her phone, "When Mommy Toriel calls me!" Frisk smirks and giggles.
    Chara laughs and smiles, letting go of Frisk's hand, and skips along the path.
    Papyrus is standing outside shouting at the roof,  "GET DOWN!" He stomps his foot.
    "Papy!" Frisk runs up and hugs him.
    "HUH? OH FRISK!" Papyrus smiles and hugs her back.
    "Hi Papy! Why are you yelling at the roof?" Chara says, studying the roof.
    "THERE'S A DOG ON MY ROOF AND I DON'T KNOW HOW IT GOT THERE..." He continues shouting, "GET DOWN!" The dog barks happily at the skeleton, "GRR... SANS!" Papyrus stomps inside.
    Chara giggles, "It's the marshmallow dog again! He seems to really like Papy... We should try and get him down!"
    Frisk nods at Chara, "But how are we gonna get up there?" She tilts her head slightly to the side again.
    "We could ask Papyrus to make a staircase with bones, or ask Sans to lift us up..." Chara suggests
    "Yeah!" Frisk calls Papyrus, and he walks out shortly, and coughs.
    "WHAT DID YOU WANT ME TO DO AGAIN?" Papyrus looks at Chara and Frisk.
    Frisk facepalms, "Build bone stairs! We wanna get the dog down!"
    "OH... OK!" He builds bone stairs up to the roof, "BE CAREFUL!"
    Frisk looks at Chara, "Who should go first?"
    "I'll try it... Maybe we should go together for balance though..." She inspects the stairs and knocks on them, "They seem stable..."
    "Ok!" She smiles and grabs Chara's hand, and begins walking up the stairs. Frisk looks at Chara, "Oh wait... You're going first..." Frisk giggles and back off the stairs.
    Chara steps on the stairs and goes up a bit, "I think they'll hold!"
    The stairs creak under the weight, but stay stable.
    Frisk looks at Chara, worried, "Be safe!"
    Chara gets up to the roof quickly, and grabs the marshmallow puppy, "Got him!" she steps back onto the stairs, and they wobble, "Umm..." She runs down them quickly as they collapse behind her.
    "Chara!" she's worried.
    Chara laughs, panting, "I'm okay! I got the puppy!" She holds him out, and he looks derpy.
    "THANK YOU CHARA!" Papyrus pats her head and walks inside.
    "Puppy!" Frisk pets the dog.
    "That was kinda scary... Especially being on the roof..." She shakes her head, "Climbing the mountain..."
    Memories of herself climbing the mountain come back to Frisk, and she shivers, her eyes go blank, "I-I don't know w-why I climbed it... I just w-wanted to show the k-kids that I'm not a s-scaredy c-cat..."
    Chara hugs her, "If you're brave enough to spare everyone, you're not a scaredy cat." She smiles
    Frisk hugs Chara back and sniffles, "T-Thanks... I can't wait until t-the other kids see what I did!" She acts brave and tough and giggles.
    "Well, If you do go... I'd like to stay down here, or can we bring Undyne to protect us?"
    "We can bring everyone!" Frisk smiles and flops to the ground.
    Chara flops on the ground next to her, and makes a snow angel
    Frisk giggles, "I'm gonna miss this place..." She looks around
    Chara sits up, "Who says you have to leave?"
    "Well... Someday I'm gonna get bored of this run... And r-reset... I hope that's not anytime soon... I just wanna leave and get it over with... And hopefully when we leave the Underground, my chances to reset will leave... So that I can't reset at all..." She sits up as well, and sniffle. Frisk's phone buzzes, "Hmm?" She looks down, "Oh, it's some random person..." she looks back up at Chara.
    "R-Reset...? W-why?" She stands up and helps Frisk up, "Who do you think it is? What did they say?"
    "I don't know..." She looks down at the phone, "Should I call them b-back?"
    Chara nods, "Try it! Put it on speaker, too!"
    Frisk giggles and calls them, and puts it on speaker.
    "H-Hello?", the voice asks.
    Frisk tries not to laugh, "Hi!"
    "A-Are you Chara?" The voice says.
    Frisk looks over at Chara and mumbles to her, "What should I say?!" she's getting nervous.
    "Yeah, Chara's here, who's this?" Chara says.
    The person hears Chara, "Hello C-Chara..." The voice laughs and ends the call.
    Frisk looks at Chara, "Umm..."
    "That was creepy..." Turns on her heel, "I'm going back home. Too creepy to function. Must go sit on bed." She grabs Frisk's hand and walks home.
    Frisk walks with Chara, "I wonder who that was..." She looks around nervously, "Chara... What if they come get us?!" She's nervous.
    "We'll be okay as long as we get home. Mom will protect us." Chara says.
    Frisk continues looking around worriedly she sees Toriel's house and runs to it, opens the door and runs inside.
    Chara goes in after Frisk, shuts the door, and leans against it, sighing, "We should go tell mom..."
    "B-But! She'll take my phone away for talking to strangers!"
    "We should still tell her. We'll say it was on my phone. Just in case they try and take me, or both of us."
    "O-Ok... Thanks Chara!" She lays her head on Chara's shoulder.
    "It's fine. We only really use your phone anyway." She walks to Toriel's room and knocks on the door, "Mom? We need to talk to you..."
    "Hmm?" She opens the door, "What is it my child?" She looks at both of them.
    "Well, someone called my phone, and we didn't answer at first, but then we got curious and called back, and they asked for me, and I said I was there, and they were just like, 'Hello Chara', and then they laughed and hung up."
    She looks around nervously, "My child... Why did you call them back?" Toriel looks at Chara, "You know what I said about talking to strangers!"
    Chara looks down, "I know, but I was curious, Frisk told me not to, but I did it anyway."
    "Thank you for your honesty..." She doesn't take the phone away, but walks to the front door and locks it, and all of the windows, "I want you two to play in your bedroom until I call your names, okay?"
    "Ok Mommy Toriel!" Frisk walks to the room.
    "Okay mom." she follows Frisk and shuts the door behind them, "I wonder why she looked so nervous..."
    "Yeah..." Frisk slumps down on the floor and begins playing with some toys.
    Chara lays across from Frisk on her stomach and plays with toys also. She picks up a small dinosaur figure, "RAWR!"
    Frisk looks at Chara and giggles.
    Chara picks up another dinosaur and makes them dance together, "Hee hee let's make a dino wedding!"
    "Yeah-"
    Toriel is shouting at someone outside the room, "Huh?" She doesn't open the door.
    Chara sits up and looks at the door, "Who's out there with mom?"
    Frisk looks at Chara, "I-I don't know..." she blocks the door, "We shouldn't g-go look..."
    Chara nods, "I know. L-let's just k-keep playing." she lays back down.
    "Y-Yeah..." Frisk continues playing.
    "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!"
    "Come on... Spare me!" the stranger tries to get to their bedroom.
    "LEAVE MY HOUSE THIS INSTANT!" Toriel tries to shove him out.
    He bangs on the bedroom door and finally leaves the house, "I'LL COME BACK FOR YOU CHARA! FOR BOTH OF YOU!"
    Toriel slams the door shut.
    Frisk is crying, "C-Chara... W-Who was that?"
    Chara had the knife in her hand, ready to protect Frisk, "I-I don't know..."
    "Stay in there my children... He might come back!" She locks the door and walks into the kitchen to make dinner.
    "CHARA! What did I tell you about that knife!" She's crying even more, "I-It scares me!" Frisk puts her face in a pillow.
    Chara looks at the knife and puts it back into it's hiding spot, "I-I know... It was just for defense." She sighs and sits on the floor.
    Frisk runs to their bed, lays down and covers herself up, "Chara... Y-You can't always protect me!" Frisk turns to the side and faces away from Chara.
    "I know... I was just scared." She looks down, lays down on the rug, and falls asleep on the floor.
    Frisk falls asleep as well.
    Chara wakes up with a blanket on top of her.
    2 slices of pie are in the center of the room.
    Chara smells the pie, but waits until Frisk is awake to eat it.
    Frisk also smells the pie, turns over and looks at Chara, and whispers, "Chara... Chara are you awake?"
    Chara hears Frisk, "Yeah." she picks up the pie and gives one slice to Frisk.
    Frisk eats the pie slowly, "Mmm... So good..." Frisk giggles playfully and smiles.
    Chara eats her slice of pie.
    Toriel is humming in the kitchen when someone knocks on the door, "Hmm?" She answers the door.
    "HELLO ASGORE'S CLO- I MEAN UMM... HELLO TORIEL! I CAME TO WATCH FRISK AND CHARA FOR YOU WHILE YOU'RE OUT AT THE STORE!" Papyrus steps inside, smiling.
    "Thank you Papyrus!" Toriel opens Chara and Frisk's bedroom door, "Papyrus is going to watch you two while I am at the store... Behave!" Toriel hugs them and Papyrus, and leaves the house, "I'll be back soon!"
    "NOW... WHO WANTS SPAGHETTI? NYEH HEH HEH!"
     "Me!" She jumps up and down, and run out and follow Papyrus to the kitchen, "Chara are you coming?" Frisk peeks back inside the room at Chara.
    Chara nods and brings the plates to the kitchen, "Spaghetti! Hey Papy, where's your Marshmallow puppy?"
    Frisk giggles and runs out to Papyrus.
    The dog jumps out of her and Frisk's inventory, and tackles Papyrus.
    Frisk giggles again, "Chara! How long have you had that dog for?!" She falls to the ground laughing.
    "NYEH!" He falls over, spaghetti flying from his hands, and some of the spaghetti lands on Frisk and Chara's heads.
    "I HAVE NO CLUE!" She laughs and eats the spaghetti anyway, "It could do with a little less of Frisk's hair!" She laughs.
    Frisk grabs the spaghetti and throws it at Chara, "Hey!" She throws some at Papyrus.
    "NO! MY SPAGHETTI!" He bawls, "MY POOR SPAGHETTI! NYEH!"
    Frisk giggles, "He's fine!" She pats Papyrus' head, "It's gonna be fine... Shhh..."
    "It's alright Papy, it tasted good anyway!" she smiles and looks around at the spaghetti and spaghetti sauce on the walls, "Mom is gonna kill us..."
    Papyrus looks at Chara and sniffles, "YOU REALLY THINK IT TASTES GOOD?" He hugs Chara, "TOGETHER WE SHALL TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD SERVING SPAGHETTI TO EVERYONE WE PASS! NYEH!" He runs off with Chara in his arms.
    "HALP! PAPYRUS YOU WENT A LITTLE TOO FAR PUT ME DOWN TORIEL WOULD BE MAD!"
    "CHARA!" Frisk runs after them.
    Papyrus and Chara pass her, she walks inside the house, and sees spaghetti sauce all over the walls, "P... PAPYRUS!" Toriel turns around and chases Papyrus.
    "Mom! HELP!"
    "OH NO! NYEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" He runs faster, and bumps into HiddenTale!Sans.
    "OOF!" Chara falls on top of him and Papyrus flops down a hill, and Frisk topples on top of Papyrus as they roll down the hill.
    Chara gets off of HiddenTale!Sans, "Umm, s-sorry!"
    He looks at Chara and blushes, "I-It's alright!"
    He stands up and looks down at Papyrus and Frisk, "U-Umm... A-Are they gonna b-be alright?"
    Frisk looks up at HiddenTale!Sans, "HELP ME CHARA!" She's tangled with Papyrus.
    Chara laughs, "I think so." She gets up, then helps Frisk and Papyrus up off the ground.
    "THANK YOU HUMAN!" He sees Toriel running towards them, "NYEH!" he runs inside his house and locks the door.
    "A-Are you alright?" he looks at Chara.
    "Hm? Yeah. Sorry for falling on you... Papy got carried away... With spaghetti. Again." Chara sighs and laughs.
    "O-Oh... O-Ok!" He smiles.
    Frisk looks at Chara and smiles too, then sees Toriel, "Oh no..."
    Chara smiles back and then looks at the direction Frisk is looking, Toriel has a fire attack ready, "M-mom, it's okay! I'm alright now!"
    Toriel pushes Frisk, Chara, and HiddenTale!Sans aside, walks up to Papyrus' house and knocks on the door.

(I can just imagine Chara stumbling backwards and HiddenTale!Sans catches her when she falls back and it would just be so cute!!)

    Papyrus opens the door, "YES?" He sees Toriel, "NYEH!" then runs off inside the house.
    Toriel chases after him inside the house after shutting the door, then the house shakes.
    Toriel comes out clapping her hands together, "Ok lets go home children..."
    She grabs Chara and Frisk's hands, and looks back at HiddenTale!Sans, "Would you like to join us for dinner?" She smiles.
    "S-Sure!" He follows them to Toriel's house.
    Chara walks with Toriel, Frisk and Hiddentale!Sans back to the RUINS, "Let's go finish what we were gonna do yesterday, Frisk!" She skips to their room.
    Frisk skips off with Chara and giggles.
    Chara gets all of the dinosaur figurines
    Frisk grabs some of them, "I wanna be the bridesmaid!" she giggles.
    Chara giggles and grabs a T-Rex and puts a bow tie on it, "Here's the Groom!"
    Frisk giggles and grabs some more dinosaurs.
    HiddenTale!Sans knocks on their door
    Frisk looks at the door, then back at Chara.
    Chara looks at the door also, "Come in!"
    HiddenTale!Sans comes in and sees what they're doing, "H-Hello!" he smiles and waves.
    "Hi!" Frisk glances at the toys, "Wanna join us in the wedding?" She smiles.
    "I'd love t-to! But T-Toriel says i-it's time for d-dinner!" He walks out of the room.
    "Come on Chara! Lets go!" She skips out of the room and to the kitchen.
    "FOOOOOOOD!" she giggles and runs into the kitchen.
    "Hmmm? Oh hello my children!" She smiles and sets out dinner.
    HiddenTale!Sans looks at Toriel, then at Chara, smiles, and blushes a bit and sits down.
    "Yay! Thanks Mom!" She smiles, and starts eating food.
    "Your welcome my child!" Toriel smiles and starts eating as well.
    Frisk also starts eating.
    HiddenTale!Sans looks at the food, smiles and begins eating.

DINNER IS FINISHED

    Chara walks tiredly to their room and falls asleep on the floor.
    Frisk falls asleep in the chair.
    Toriel is slumped down on the couch, sleeping.
    HiddenTale!Sans looks around, "U-Umm..."
    He mumbles in his head, "A-Am I the only o-one awake?" He sighs and lays down in the chair.
