Chapter 9: The Nightmare

    She wakes up early, and gets dressed after locking the door.
    Frisk wakes up shortly.
    "Morning..." Frisk says, still slightly asleep.
    "Finally. I woke up a little bit ago. Mom's probably awake... let's go get some breakfast." She says, opening the door.
    Toriel's in the kitchen with Hidden, "Good morning, my children!" she sets down a large plate of Butterscotch-Cinnamon Waffles, and a large plate of bacon.
    He has a cup of coffee.
    There is already a plate and a cup of hot chocolate in Chara and Frisk's spots.
    She grabs a chocolate bar from the fridge and splits it into four sections, then gives Frisk, Hidden, and Toriel each a section to eat, and keeps a section for herself.
    "Good morning Mommy Toriel!" Frisk sits down and eats the chocolate before eating the waffles and bacon.
    "Good morning you two..." He smiles at Frisk and Chara.
    "Morning!" She smiles back at him.
    There's a voice in the back of Frisk's mind, "Kill all of them... kill all of the monsters. They don't mean it when they are kind to you! They're just going to kill you in the end! Chara, Toriel, all of them. They don't care at all."
    Frisk shakes her head violently, having flashbacks of all of her friends turning into dust.
    "Frisk! Are you okay!?" She gets out of her chair and stands next to Frisk.
    "My child! Is everything alright?" Toriel rushes to Frisk's side.
    Hidden doesn't know what to do, so he sits there, worried.
    Frisk has tears in her eyes, and she stops shaking her head, falling into Chara's arms, asleep.
    "She's asleep..." She tries to carry Frisk back to their room.
    "H-here. Let m-me help..." He uses his power eye to pick Frisk up.
    "Thanks..." she opens the bedroom door.
    He sets Frisk down in their bed, and Chara tucks Frisk in.
    "Is Frisk okay?" Toriel asks as Hidden and Chara walk into the kitchen.
    Chara nods, and they both sit down.

LATER THAT NIGHT...

    "Goodnight mom." Chara says as she walks to her room and crawls into her bed, falling asleep shortly, but her dreams are not sweet.
    "Hello Chara..." a random voice says, coming out from the shadows and snatching Chara and Frisk, then teleporting away.
    Frisk drops the flowers as they teleport away.
    Chara screams, "AAH!"
    The random person sets them down, "Welcome to m-my home!"
    He has sort of a glitched out voice. There are golden flowers everywhere. He holds the two of them up with his power eye.
    "WHO ARE YOU, YOU SON OF A DIRT!?" Chara shouts, determined.
    He looks at Chara and begins choking her, then stops, "Not important right now... The real question is, where are you?" He smiles evilly.
    "DON'T PUT WORDS IN MY MOUTH!" Chara back-sasses.
    "C-Chara!" Frisk reaches for her, but they are too far apart.
    "Now..." He grabs a golden flower and then sets it down, "I've been watching you two... Especially you Chara..."
    He smirks, and a flower comes out from his eye, "Remember me?" He laughs.
    "Let us go!"
    "Never!" He squeezes Frisk until their body goes limp, and he sets her on the floor, "That should keep her knocked out for a while." He chuckles.
    "You creep! Let me go!"
    Flowey's side of the Sans looks at Chara, "I thought we were besties... Weren't we?" He smiles, and a face of Asriel's appears on his face.
    Chara growls, "A FRIEND WOULDN'T KIDNAP THEIR BEST FRIEND!" she struggles even more.
    "Well... I wanted you for my own... After I turned into this stupid flower... I could never hang out with you..." He looks... sad? But then he smiles, "But now here we are! Just like the old times!" He holds her tighter, "Except I'm the one fighting back..."
    He laughs evilly, "And after a while of being this flower... I decided to take things into my own hands... By possessing this poor, poor, Sans..." The Flowey side smirks, and the Sans side coughs and says, "Heya... Kid..."
    Chara screams with pure rage, and the vines vaporise.
    "What do you think you're doing?" He grabs Frisk and holds her tightly.
    "LEAVE HER ALONE!" She pulls out a knife and cuts the vines, slowly making her way to Flowey!Possession Sans, then somehow teleports in front of him and strikes Flowey in the face.
    He strikes Chara in the chest, and pushes her all the way against the wall, and some blood starts spilling from her mouth.
    He laughs and regens? There's just a little mark where Chara struck him.
    Chara continuously strikes Flowey "Mom! I need your help!"
    He leans in closer, "But nobody came..." Memories start flooding back to Chara when Frisk killed everyone.
    He laughs.
    Chara screams, and hits Flowey again.
    "That all ya got? Remember... I have him too..." he gestures to the Sans that he is possessing.
Gaster Blasters appear around Chara, and it flips to Sans' face, "I'm sor-" He coughs "sorry k-kid..." Frisk is secured in a bone cage.
    He laughs, and the Sans half is crying.
    "IT'S NOT FUNNY!" tears are streaming down her face, "WHY WOULD YOU POSSESS SOME-ONE JUST SO YOU COULD GET MY ATTENTION!? AND KIDNAP ME! YOU DON'T DESERVE TO HAVE ANY POWER IF THAT'S WHAT YOU THINK IT TAKES TO GET MY ATTENTION!! YOU'RE A PATHETIC FLOWER!"
    Flowey looks down, and then looks back up at Chara, smiling evilly, "I didn't want your attention... I wanted you..." He climbs out of the Sans' body, and climbs up on Chara's head, and begins stretching his vines around her.
    Chara screams, and sees all of her friends turn into dust before her, as she slowly and painfully turns into dust as well.
    Chara jolts awake with a short scream, and starts breathing heavily.
    Hidden hears Chara, and runs into their room, to her side, "Are y-you ok!?"
    She looks at him with wide eyes and hugs him.
    He hugs her back as she cries into his shoulder, "D-do you need me t-to stay in here?"
    Chara nods, pulling away and wiping the tears off of her face.
    "I'll b-be right back..." He leaves the room and goes to the guest room, grabbing a pillow and a blanket.
    When he gets back into the other room, he sets the pillow down on the floor next to Chara's bed, lays down, resting his head on the pillow, then putting the blanket on top of himself.
    She smiles, lays back down, and falls asleep without dreams.
    Frisk wakes up and looks over at Chara's bed, and sees Hidden sleeping on the floor, and Frisk fangirls as quiet as she can.
    She gets off of her bed and changes, then she walks out to the kitchen.
    Hidden wakes up and looks around, yawning.
    "O-oh yeah, I s-slept in here last n-night..." He looks at Chara, and his face slightly turns red.
    Chara opens her eyes slowly, and sits up, rubbing her eyes, "Morning..."
    She yawns, and looks at Hidden and blushes.
    "H-hi..."
    She giggles and gets out of her bed, wraps her blanket around her, and walks to the kitchen.
