CHAPTER 13

ERIS' POV:

After I brought Serina to her place, dumiretso na ako sa bahay namin. Umaga na ng nakauwi ako sa amin. As the guard recognized me and my car, he immediately open the gate so I drove my car in. Agad ko naman ipinark ang sasakyan ko sa parking area ng bahay namin tsaka ako lumabas at pumasok na sa loob.

Napatingin ako sa paligid para hanapin si mommy pero wala siya. Nakita ko naman ang isang maid namin na papunta atang kusina kaya agad ko siyang nilapitan.

"Hey, where's mom?" I asked her when she stopped. Hindi siya agad nakapagsalita so I snapped in front of her and it brings her back to life. Tss, so stupid. "Ah, nasa yoga room po ma'am kasama si ma'am Chanelle." Tumango na lamang ako sa kanya kaya umalis na agad siya sa harap ko.

Napatingin naman ako sa dako ng daan papuntang yoga room and I can hear the voices there. I sigh, nagbobonding nanaman ang mag-ina. Agad naman akong pumunta doon at binuksan ang pintuan. There, they're having there yoga together. Like mother like daughter talaga.

Napadilat naman silang dalawa ng mata ng marinig na bumukas ang pinto pero hindi sila nagpadisturbo sa pwesto nila.

"Erthena, join us." Mom calmly told me as she continued doing her yoga and Chanelle is following her. I rolled my eyes and I sat on the chair in front of them and I kept my eyes close. Ah, this is more relaxing than having a yoga with them. I can hear there inhale and exhale and some of there stunts of whatever they're doing but I don't give a damn. Gusto ko lang ipahinga ang katawan ko.

After an hour or half, natapos na ang mag-ina sa pagyoyoga nila kaya dinilat ko na ang mata ko and both of them is staring at me. Napakunot naman agad ang noo ko sa kanila, "what?" I asked with my coldest voice. "Anyare sayo?" Chanelle asked.

I ignored her presence and just look at mom who's now sitting on the chair beside me.

"What organization attacked you?" Mom asked. Isinandal ko naman ang ulo ko sa upuan and Chanelle did squat in front of us. "The Lewis mafia." I answered her and I can see anger now all over her face.

"What?! Why didn't you told us?!" Chanelle exclaimed kaya napatingin ako sa kanya at nakita ko ang pagkuyom ng mga kamao niya, "they don't want to stop, then I'll give them what they want! I'll make sure, blood will be raining on there organization. I will kill all of them!" She continued.

Napabuntong hininga naman si mommy at napapikit na pinipigilan ang kanyang sarili. Napailing na lamang ako sa kanilang dalawa. They think I can't handle myself? They think I didn't know what the hell am I doing? Tumayo naman ako sa kinauupuan ko kaya nadistract sila at napatingin sakin.

"I do know what I am doing. I do know what to do just to kill 'em. You don't need to show me how weak I am. Just please stay out of it."

"No Erthena! We're talking about the mafia! We're talking about your life! Hindi ko mapapatawad ang kahit na sinong mafia ang makakapanakit sa pamilya ko. No one! I'll kill them first before they can even do that shit!" Anger registered on Chanelle's angelic face. This is the real her, the real Chanelle who's not hiding on her fucking mask.

Napatayo na din si mommy sa kinauupuan niya at tsaka ako hinawakan sa balikat ko. "Your sister's right Erthena. We should fight with this together. Kung sasaktan nila ang kahit isa sa atin, o kahit na sinong tao sa mafia natin, hinding hindi sila makakatakas. At alam ko, alam kong kaya niyo namang alagaan ang sarili niyo. May tiwala ako sa kakayanan ninyo." And my fucking usual mom, she smiled at us and making an assurance that we'll win this battle. We can have the victory.

"But for now? You should get some rest. You look like a mess, princess." And then, I saw the worried cross her face.

Princess. That was the endearment I always want them to call me when I was just a little kid, but now? I don't think if I ever deserves to be called.
